Day 1: Thursday 01 March 2018:

Flight from Maun Airport to Kalahari Plains

Arrive at Kalahari Plains

Activities:

Please note: As Kalahari Plains Camp is located in the central Kalahari Game Reserve, we adhere to all the Department of Wildlife and National Parks regulations including no off-road driving and night driving.

Day game drives in 4 x 10 seater oen 4 x 4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of 7 guests allowing each guest an outside seat.

Private activities available on request (additional cost applicable)

Day trips to the renowned Deception Valley, with a picnic brunch on request.

Guided bushman walk (led by camp staff members who are descendants of the San Bushmen and within close proximity to the camp - 800 meters). The experience enables an understanding of how the San Bushmen lived and survived in the harsh Kalahari desert as well as gaining an insight in to the ancient San culture and their humble and gentle approach amonst the family units and with the environment.

Hot water bottles (during winter months and on early morning game drives only), blankets and lined ponchos are provided on game drives.

Birding (internationally recognised IBA - Important Birding Area)

Star-bed sleep-out on platform of unit with star maps (weather permitting)

Stargazing with a laser pointer.

Days 4 - 6: Okavango Delta

Flight from Maun Airport to Chitabe Lediba Camp

Arrive at Chitabe Lediba Camp

Activities:

Day and night game drives in 03 x 10-seater open 4 x 4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of 7 guests allowing each guest an outside seat

Private activities on offer (subject to vehicle availability which needs to be booked and paid for) - note that the private vehicle at Chitabe Lediba cannot be booked for guests staying at Chitabe Camp

The camp has a supply of bean bags for guests to use to steady their camera while on a game activity

Hot water bottles (during winter months and on early morning game drives only), blankets and lined ponchos are provided on game drives.

Birding (internationally recognize IBA - Important Birding Area)

Guided nature walks (on request and seasonal - during the transition season of March to June flora in the area flourishes giving predators ample coverage and making walking conditions unfavorable) as well as subject to the discretion of the Camp Manager

Overnight : Chitabe Lediba Camp

Days 7 - 9: Kwedi Concession

Day 7 : Wednesday 07 March 2018

Depart from Chitabe Lediba Camp

Flight from Chitabe Lediba Camp to Little Vumbura Camp

Arrive at Little Vumbura Camp

Activities:

50% game drives and 50% water activities (but can change depending on flood levels)

Day and night game drives in 04 x 10 seater open 4 x 4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of 7 guests, allowing each guest an outside seat (night drives only possible in low flood)

The camp does have a supply of beach bags for guests to use to stead their camera while on a game activity

On request guided nature walks can be arranged on nearby islands(seasonal and subject to qualified walking guide being available)

Hot water bottles (during winter months and on early morning game drives only), blankets and lined ponchos are provided on game drives.

Birding (Internationally Recognized IBA - Important Bird Area)

Private activities available on reuqest (subject to vehicle availability which needs to be booked and paid for in advance)

Water-based activities in 06 x 2 seater mekoros and 04 x 8 seater motorized boats (water levels permitting)

Fishing on a catch and release basis (fishing is prohibited in Botswana in January and February for fish breeding purposes). The camp has a small stock of basic rods and reels but fly fishing equipment is to be supplied by guest if required.

Guided visit to a local African village by helicopter (additional cost applicable for tour and helicopter)

Hot air ballooning (weather permitting) and operational from 01 April 2017 t 30 September 2017 (inclusive), as well as 01 April 2018 to 30 September 2018 (inclusive) with guest numbers as a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4, options of either via helicopter both ways or driven one way with a helicopter transfer the other or driven both ways. The launch site and landing site may vary according to the time of year and prevailing wind conditions. Champagne celebration on landing, with snacks, including commemorative flight certificates presented by the pilot.

Over and above a standard balloon excursion, guests have the option of adding on a helicopter flight - reducing travel time and adding a real WOW factor.

Days 10 - 12: Linyanti Concession

Activities:

80% game drives and 20% water based activities

Day and night game drives in 05 x 10 seater open 4 x 4 Land Rovers each accommodating a maximum of 7 guests, allowing each guest an outside seat

The camp does have a supply of beach bags for guests to use to stead their camera while on a game activity

Hot water bottles (during winter months and on early morning game drives only), blankets and lined ponchos are provided on game drives.

Birding (Internationally Recognized IBA - Important Bird Area)

Private activities available on request (additional cost applicable)

Water-based activities in 01 x 6 seater and 01 x 8 seater motorized boats (water levels permitting) and 01 large boat that can accommodate up to 8 guests for picnics/sundowners.

Fishing on a catch and release basis (fishing is prohibited in Botswana in January and February for fish breeding purposes). The camp has a small stock of basic rods and reels but fly fishing equipment is to be supplied by guest if required.

Overnight: DumaTau Camp
