On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will collect your luggage and proceed through customs. You will be met by your Southern Africa 360 representative before transferring to Hazyview and your Hotel for the next 2 days. Freshen up before dinner - Four restaurants make up this brand of Family owned and managed restaurants all in Hazyview, offering a variety of cuisine to meet various palates and dining experiences.
After a delicious breakfast you will be met by your guide and embark on a full day touring the beautiful Panorama Route which is a scenic road connection with several cultural and natural points of interest; such as God's Window, Bourke's Luck Pothotels and the Three Sisters. Stop for lunch at the world famous Harry's Pancakes and endulge in a delicious light lunch of pancakes. Returning to your hotel in the late afternoon to spend the afternoon at leisure before dinner.
After a leisurely morning and breakfast, you will depart for the Greater Kruger area and towards the Grand Kruger Lodge and your home for the next three nights.
Check in at your hotel at 14:00, you are free to explore the lodge at your leisure before meeting in the lodge reception area to proceed on your Sunset Game Drive into the Kruger National Park. Leaving the lodge before dusk and returning after sunset lasting around three to four hours. Enjoying a drive during this period provides the perfect opportunity for you to witness all the beauty of the bush as it changes from day to night. You will have time to freshen up before enjoying a delicious dinner. Maybe tonight dinner will be in the restaurant, seated inside and out, or a bush braai in the boma, lit by the African stars and a mesmerizing bush fire, an experience you won’t forget. Or perhaps the chefs will decide to do something completely different.
Your Full Day Game Drive begins at sunrise and will be the start of your game spotting adventure. Upon arriving at the entry gate your friendly guide will begin each safari with an all-inclusive briefing on Game Drive protocols when entering the Kruger National Park. Together, with your guide, you will set out into the wild to spot the abundance of fauna and flora that the African Bush has to offer. The excitement of your morning could leave one a bit hungry making it a good time to stop for you to enjoy breakfast at lower Sabie. After breakfast, you will continue on your search for the “Big 5”. You will be guided back to the lodge, just in time for lunch to replenish the energy spent on the day’s excitement.
