Up on your arrival, pickup and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day explore the town on your own.

After the guide meet and we will travel to Ban Nongluang which acts as the starting point for the next three days adventure.
Upon arrival in Nongluang you will be met by your local guide who will give you a full safety briefing and teach you about the different types of plants in the forest and how they are used in traditional medicine. After your briefing you will begin hiking through coffee plantations and pineapple groves before entering the dense forest where after a while you will cross a walkway high in the trees. Across a steep river valley you will go past the huge tiger waterfall and the towering Kamet waterfall which plunges down over 100m into a massive stone basin. Here you will enjoy lunch among the beautiful surroundings before beginning the thrilling zip lining!
After lunch the fun really starts! You will spend the rest of the day zip lining through the tree tops and past the towering waterfalls, a truly amazing experience which is sure to stick with you forever!
After an adrenaline fulled day you will return to the camp to enjoy a delicious BBQ Dinner before retiring to your accommodation for the night in a tree house.

We wake up amidst the warbling, piping, chirping, twittering of the innumerable birds in the dense canopy around us. A simple European-style breakfast prepares us for an easy 30-minute trek through great forest before reaching the first cable. Be ready for extended flights through the jungle with the longest zip-line of 400 m as a real highlight. Its speed, its felt infinity, the proximity to the usually invisible upper stratum of the forest is an amazing and unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, we will discover see how the local people make knives using traditional methods. Continuing onwards for around 40 minutes brings us to a local tea and coffee plantation, here we will watch how they make a different types of tea and coffee, after which we will be able taste test the finished product. Continuing onwards we arrive at the fabulous 120 meter tall Tad Fan waterfall, here we spend some time to relax and take in the beautiful scenery before trekking onwards through the dense forest. Along the way we will see many different types of birds and if lucky monkeys and even wild goats may be spotted!
We stop for a picnic lunch at Tad Yeaung waterfall which is a beautiful swimming spot! After enjoying our lunch we take some time to swim and relax for a while before taking a short walk to some nearby coffee farms above the waterfall. Returning back to the base of the waterfall we board our awaiting vehicle and drive up to a highland area of the plateau to visit a local market at the small town of Paksong which is home to people of the Mon-Khmer ethnic minority. After spending some time to look around the market we hit the road once again and head towards Tad Pha Suam waterfall, along the way we visit several different ethnic minority villages including Laven, Taoy and Aluk as well as a stopping off at a traditional marriage house and weaving museum before arriving at the waterfall. Tad Pha Suam waterfall offers some excellent photo opportunities and is a great place to relax amongst nature. Make further transfer to Champassak.
Early in the morning at sunrise we visit the Khmer temple ruins and World Heritage Site ‘Wat Phou’, before going back to the guesthouse for breakfast. Thereafter we will enjoy a ride by long-tail boat downstream on the Mekong to see the wonderful scenery of Si Pan Done, the famous 4000 Islands. On the way we may encounter numerous water birds such as kingfisher and green shanks, plovers or thick-knees. The beautiful tour will take us several hours before we reach Don Khone island. We will stay overnight there.

After breakfast we will start an excursion by walking or cycling around the island to visit the old colonial French bridge and the gorgeous Phili (or Somphamit) waterfall. We then embark on a boat for a 20 minutes ride to the dolphin area right at the Lao-Cambodian border. This is one of the last though threatened sanctuaries in the world of the almost extinct Irrawaddy Dolphin. We will spend about an hour for trying to spot and photograph these extremely rare and endangered freshwater mammals.
After another boat ride we reach Veun Kham at the Lao-Cambodian border, where our van will wait for us to take us to Khone Phapheng, the breathtaking and biggest waterfall in South-East Asia. We will have our lunch here. Next we drive to Ban Kiet Ngong for an elephant trek to the ancient Phou Asa temple on top of a huge cliff. From there we have wonderful far-reaching views over the Xepian National Protected Area, which is well-know for its extensive wetlands and diversity of water birds. In the late afternoon we will return to Pakse.
