Day 1: Missing Point

On arrival in Cape Town International Airport you will collect your luggage and proceed through customs. You will be met by your Southern Africa 360 representative and privately transfer you to your Hotel located in the heart of the City.

After check in you are free to explore the surrounding area and visit any of the Local restaurants within walking distance. 

Day 2: Missing Point

While enjoying the next two full days at leisure in Cape Town where you can select from a range of optional tours and activities. The most popular Cape Town tours are: 

  • Go hiking in Table Mountain National Park or take a rotating cable car to the top for 360-degree views.
  • Visit Boulders Beach to see the only colony of African penguins in the world. 
  • The Cape of Good Hope is also a popular excursion for visitors staying in Cape Town

Day 3: Missing Point

You'll have the next two days to explore Cape Town at your own pace! There is much to see and do in South Africa's most sophisticated city—a melting pot of people and cultures, including Africans, Europeans, and Malays, topped off with magnificent scenery and abundant outdoor life. 

Suggestions include:

  • Walk around Bo-Kaap, one of Cape Town's most colorful and historic neighborhoods, for homes and mosques painted in vibrant rainbow colors including blues, purples, pinks, yellows, and greens.
  • Experience Cape Town through the eyes of passionate, local guides and storytellers on a gentle  cycle through the heart and soul of the city of Cape Town.
  • Visit historical sites like the Castle of Good Hope, a fort from the 17th century, and St. George's Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in Southern Africa.
  • Sample fresh seafood and international cuisine at a range of restaurants all over town.

Day 4: Missing Point

Today you have the choice of the following activities: 

  • There is a little walk that winds its way between Muizenberg and St. James, which is perfect for a gentle stroll with family and friends. Interestingly, this coastal stretch used to be known as Cape Town’s Golden Mile.
  • Soak up the urban creativity on a street art tour in Woodstock. This trendy neighbourhood boasts a number of walls adorned with art in an array of colours and designs.
  • Take a trip to the historic Robben Island, home to the prison that housed many political prisoners under apartheid, the most famous being Nelson Mandela.

Day 5: Wellington

This morning your rental vehicle will be delivered to you at your hotel and you will head off on your road trip to Wellington, situated at the foot of the Groenberg on the banks of the Kromme Rivier (Dutch for Bend River) and forms the center of the Cape Winelands with its picturesque environment and numerous wineries. 

A visit to Wellington's berry farm is an absolute must. Strawberries, Raspberries, Youngberries as well as Cape Gooseberries are grown here. 

Upon arrival at the Camp, you will be met by your hosts , who will after check in escort you to your unique Boutique Camping Tent where you will spend the next two days at your own leisure. 

Day 6: Wellington

Today you have the choice of the following activities:

  • Wood-fired Hot Tubs 
  • Hiking
  • Mountain Biking 
  • The Labyrinth - As a tribute to the estate’s history and typographic Labyrinthine characteristics, a small labyrinth was constructed close to the entrance of the farm. This is a fun spot for the kids to play and make their way through the labyrinth.

Day 7: Wellington

Today you have the choice of the following activities: 

  • Visit Stellenbosch
  • Visit Franschhoek 

Day 8: Hazyview

Today you will self-drive to Cape Town International Airport, drop off your rental car and check-in for your flight to Johannesburg.

Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, collect your car rental and self-drive to Hazyview via GPS instructions. 

Upon arrival at the Camp, you will be met by your hosts , who will after check in escort you to your unique Boutique Camping Tent where you will spend the next four days at own leisure. 

Day 9: Hazyview

Today, when planing your game drives in Kruger, wild animals indulge in different activities early in the morning, during the day, late afternoon and at night. In order to maximize your time during a self-drive, schedule your drive either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. These are the most active periods for the birds and animals. In the middle of the day most animals rest, so follow their example. Take a rest in the middle of the day so that you can do your game drive during the best times of the day.

Day 10: Hazyview

Day 11: Hazyview

Today, enjoy The Panorama Route, one of many scenic drives in South Africa.  This is a fantastic day tour that allows you to experience the awe-inspiring waterfalls, valleys, mountains and rivers of the magnificent Mpumalanga region that border the Kruger National Park.

Here is the following scenic viewpoints:

  • Bourke’s Luck Potholes
  • Blyde River Canyon
  • Three Rondavels
  • Lisbon Falls,
  • Lone Creek

We recommend you start your tour at 08h00. On route you will be able to have lunch at various restaurants and enjoy a spot of curio shopping.

Day 12: End of Itinerary

It's time to say goodbye to South Africa! At the designated time, you'll make the drive back to OR Tambo International Airport where you will return the rental vehicle and check in for your trip home.
