Day 1: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After clearing entry formalities you will be met in the arrivals hall and then transferred to the Lodge where you can check in and from here decide what you would like to do. My recommendation is that you would go to the actual Falls themselves and enjoy this incredible spectacle of nature .

Day 2: Central Hwange National Park

You have a road transfer today through to Hwange National Park. This will leave after breakfast and the plan would be to get you into camp into for lunch. The first part of the journey is on a good paved road and then you turn off down a bush road to reach the park where you will change over into an open safari vehicle for a game drive into camp.

Days 3 - 4: Central Hwange National Park

This is a beautiful camp overlooking a very busy waterhole and open grasslands. Key to the overall safari experience here is that the guides here have many years of experience in this area and doing bush walks is a what they excel at. You can also do game drives and enjoy the amazing volume and variety of wildlife in this very productive area of Hwange. Its a good place to look for the big cats which includes lion and cheetah.

Day 5: Mana Pools National Park

Today you will have a game drive transfer to the airstrip and then an air transfer through to Mana Pools, the flight will take about 2hrs across the Western side of Zimbabwe and into the Zambezi Valley. You will be met at the airstrip and your Mana Pools experience starts straight from the airstrip with the drive down to the camp, set right on the banks of the Zambezi River in the heart of the Mana Pools Flood plain area.

Days 6 - 8: Mana Pools National Park

Mana Pools is one of the best parks in Africa in terms of its beautiful scenery and incredible density of wildlife on the flood plain. The best way to get the most from this park is to enjoy the bush walks along the flood plain, this is probably the best park in Africa to experience this and you will fully qualified professional guide well experienced in this area to lead you and show you more than the just the big stuff.

Day 9: Mana Pools National Park

Today you will have a beautiful game drive transfer through to the Sapi Safari area on the Eastern side of Mana Pools. You should arrive in camp in time for lunch depending on what you have seen along the way. This camp is also right on the banks of the River in a private safari area.

Day 10: Mana Pools National Park

Being here in this area gives you the added advantage of being able to go on a boat out onto the River where you will get a very different safari experience - its so peaceful as you drift down the river and great for looking at hippos, crocs and birds and if you are lucky watching the elephants playing and swimming in the River.

Day 11: End of Itinerary

You will have an air transfer from the nearby airstrip that will get you to Harare and will be timed to suit your International Flights, the flight is approximately 90mins.
