Depart to KwaZulu-Natal's stunning Valley of 1000 Hills, where many Zulu people still reside. The park itself is known for its traditional beehive-shaped huts and hands-on experiences like Zulu spear making. Witness a colorful Zulu dance performance, then embark on an informative tour of the park's reptile portion where you'll learn first-hand about resident crocodiles and snakes, including the notorious green mamba.

Early breakfast (or request a pack breakfast!!) depart at 6am sharp for your 3-hour road transfer to St Lucia National Park, where you will join a 2-hour boat cruise at 10:00 to view crocodiles, hippopotamus and an abundance of birdlife.

Emdoneni Lodge in Hluhluwe offers guests intimate and comfortable accommodation in the form of chalets and rondavels, offering true South African hospitality and cuisine.
16h00 Join your guide for an information tour of the cats at Emdoneni lodge - The Project has been in operation since 1994, since then they have successfully rehabilitated and released Servals, Caracals, African Wildcats and Cheetahs. We are delighted to release the two Servals at iSimangaliso Wetland Park and to play our part in ensuring the conservation of this rare and beautiful species. This neighboring Wetland Park, iSimangaliso, provides them with a secure home away from inhabited areas and the threat of snaring. Servals are listed on the ‘Threatened or Protected Species’ (TOPS) list owing to their rarity. They are vulnerable to being snared and killed by farmers, in particular for their beautiful pelts.
