On arrival at Cape Town International Airport and your VIP experience begins immediately as we have organised an VVVIPP express immigration service which avoids the sometimes notoriously slow standard immigration processes in South Africa.   This package helps you de-stress in a private, deluxe lounge while AssistAnt  address all arrival details.  The VVVIP airport service for arrivals involves meet and greet and private transport from the aircraft to a luxury lounge.  Upon your arrival to the exclusive, VIP deluxe lounge, you’ll have cold and hot beverages, fruit, and light snacks.  Whilst you lay back in the lounge, we will deal with immigration, baggage pick-up and picking up your duty-free products, and customs.  AssistAnt will then take you from the lounge to meet your "Explore Sideways"  Private driver/guide .  

Your private driver/guide from Explore Sideways will take you on the 90 minutes scenic driver to Grootbos Private Game Reserve and point out all the interesting fun facts only a local expert can provide.  Grootbos is an International Multi-Award winning reserve and accommodation that not only immerses you in the beauty of nature but also invites you to blend and participate in it's wonders, ecologies, archeology, diversity and social responsibility programs that are all world class.

After breakfast, the morning is yours to enjoy how you wish.  We recommend using this day to explore as many of the inclusive activities as possible and to book any optional non-land based activities for tomorrow.

All the inclusive programs are great but we highly recommend:

• Marine Walk to the Klipgat Cave which is one of the earliest sights of stone age man. 
• From July - December whale-watching from land is a must and almost impossible to miss.
• Horse riding through the reserve.

For optional land based activities (for your account) we recommend booking the day before and trying:

• Sharkcage diving for the more adventurous (it's totally safe)
• Whale-watching boat trip

After an exquisite night and breakfast in the morning today is the best day to take up any of the optional non-based activities that you may have chosen such as Shark-Cage Diving.

Otherwise you can simply relax and take in the fynbos, beaches, mountains and fresh air and relax.  Or take up any of the inclusive land based activities you haven't tried yet.

After enjoying your last morning in the stunning Grootbos Private Game Reserve you will depart for a Hemel-en-Aarde Valley Food and Wine Tour.

Hemel-en-Aarde is within 1 hour of Groobos and is South Africa's premier cold wine growing region and Hemel-en-Aarde translates to Heaven and Earth.  Wines like Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah (including some excellent Methode Cap Classique, the local sparkling wine) are all produced in this hidden gem of a region. Most of the wineries in the valley are considered boutique and small production but are growing rapidly in terms of world-class recognition.

Starting at Creation Wines you will partake in wine tasting and have lunch (on own account) overlooking the stunning vineyards.  Then it's on to nearby Domaine des Dieux for the first and only MCC (Methode Cap Classique, the local sparkling wine) producer in the Hemel-en-Aarde. This small production, premium wine estate boasts stunning views of the valley for you to enjoy as you sip on their range of award-winning wines. When you’re ready, one of the tasting room assistants will supply you with a bottle of bubbles and their famous, life-size sabre to do your own sabrage!

After breakfat at One & Only we have a terrific CURATED CAPE TOWN TOUR organised with your private guide  exploring the very best of Cape Town and intimate details.  The tour will run from 9am - 5pm and includes:

• A return trip on the Table Mountain Cable Car where you’ll learn about fynbos (local plant life)
• A walking tour of the famous brightly coloured houses of the Bo-Kaap and learn about Cape Malay heritage
• A stroll through the famous Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens
• End the day with a stroll along the Camps Bay strip, returning via the Sea Point promenade

EXCLUSIVE STELLENBOSCH WINE TOUR  (8:30am - 5:30pm)

After breakfast your guide will be waiting at reception to take you on a stunning food and wine tour of Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine regions.  These regions are long recognised as places worth celebrating.  From beautiful vineyards that are planted in some of the oldest soils in the world, to the avenues of oak trees that line the streets of the town of Stellenbosch.

Here in South Africa they like to celebrate life, and do that through food and wine and people and culture.  We visit wineries that have been making wine for over 350 years. Visit historic, cobwebbed cellars and glitzy state of the art wineries, walk through world-class vineyards and taste wine that is a true expression of the local terroir.

Your first stop on this full day, expertly guided, private tour takes you to Jordan wine estate, renowned for terroir-inspired wines that combine the fruity accessibility of the New World with the classic elegance of the old. The team at De Morgenzon, your second stop, believe in the power of music and vibrations. Here you’ll learn why playing baroque music is good for growing grapes. Taste for yourself and see if you agree!

When you’ve finished learning about Bach, Handel and Vivaldi your specialist guide will take you to the sleek and eco-friendly Cavalli Wine & Stud Farm for a wine tasting and lunch. Equus, the restaurant at Cavalli is excellent and the views of the surrounding mountain landscapes from the edge of the on-site lake are breathtakingly beautiful.

Your final stop on the Exclusive Stellenbosch Wine Tour & Tasting is at Hidden Valley Winery where you have the option of a wine and chocolate or wine and olive oil tasting to end off the perfect day in the Stellenbosch region.

Your guide will take you back to One & Only Resort Cape Town.  If you have room then dine in at the resort and enjoy it's facilities.

After your food and wine tour of Stellenbosch yesterday, today is yours to enjoy as you which.

You can book and take up an activity of your liking or suggested by your private guide, go shopping at V & A Waterfront Mall or relax and enjoy the facilities at One & Only Cape Town.  It's up to until 4pm.  If you still feel like a further activity we would recommend Snorkeling with the Seals at Houts Bay.

At 4pm your private guide will pick you up for a short 10 minute transfer to Scenic Helicopters headquarters.

SCENIC HELICOPTERS TOUR OF THE FULL PENINSULA (48 minute ride)

We have organised a fantastically thrilling and beautiful tour of the whole Peninsula to give you a whole new vantage point and perspective.

This Cape Point Helicopter flight will fly along the Atlantic coastline through to Clifton – 12 Apostles – Hout Bay – Chapmans Peak – Noordhoek Beach – Scarbourgh – The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve – Cape Point – Simonstown – Fish Hoek – Muizenberg – Groot Constantia – Table Mountain – City Bowl – Waterfront.

This Cape Town Helicopter experience will take you to the tip of the Cape Peninsula – Cape Point, a nature reserve within the Table Mountain National Park and a declared Natural World Heritage Site. It is an absolute treat to be experienced from the air.

On return, stroll back to One & Only Cape Town for dinner or chose one of the V & A Waterfront restaurants.

ROBBEN ISLAND TOUR BY PRIVATE YACHT.

After breakfast at 8am we skip the queues and the old rickety ferry boat to Robben Island, instead we’ve organise a private yacht charter to take you to the historic site where former president Nelson Mandela’s was imprisoned with hard labour for 18 of the 27 years before apartheid fell.   Learn firsthand about the treacherous conduct of the prison in a private tour of the island lead by an ex-prisoner.  All expenses of the tour are taken care of and you can enjoy sparkling wine, wine, soft drinks or water along with snacks on your private yacht. 

It’s a spectacular return in time for lunch at One and Only as you sip on your champagne and admire the fully glory of Table Mountain. It doesn’t get much better than this!!!
