Classic Kenyan Bush and Beach Safari

Day notes

There is a regular schedule service from Nairobi International through to the Coastal City of Mombasa on Kenya Airways so there is no need to leave the airport. You will be met there and then transferred down the coast to Diani Beach and your lodge where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches and warm Indian Ocean to recharge your batteries before the safari starts.

Day notes

Your first safari destination is Amboseli National Park which has arguably the most famous safari view in Africa. The classic view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak which forms the back drop to this beautiful park with its herds of elephants, giraffe, gazelles, zebra, wildebeest, dik-dik and many more is a very memorable place to visit and a must see if coming to Kenya.

Your camp is in a private concession area on the boundary of the park so each day you will be able to combine both the National Park and Concession areas into your daily safari activities. 

Day notes

Your next destination is the famous Masai Mara - from the time your plane lands your Mara safari starts in this wildlife rich area that has a big reputation for the quality of its game viewing. The camp is in a private concession area on the boundary of the reserve however there are no fences here so the wildlife freely moves throughout this massive ecosystem and you have the advantage of having a lot fewer camps and vehicles to share your sightings with to give you an amazing and intimate safari experience. 

During your time here you will also be able to have the incredible experience of doing a dawn flight in a Hot Air Balloon across the Mara which ends with a beautiful Champagne breakfast out on the grassed plains, a really amazing way to spend a morning on safari.

Depending on the time of year you could either catch the vast migratory herds of Wildebeest and Zebra July to September or at a quieter time of the year you can enjoy the resident wildlife which is outstanding at any time of the year that will easily keep you busy with sightings of all the big predators and prey species that make a Mara experience so special.

Day notes

Today you would have a scheduled flight from the Mara  back to the International Airport in Nairobi which we would plan when we have the International flight details sorted.
