Arrival to Windhoek, the capital of the Republic of Namibia. After pick up at the airport and a short city tour we travel to our lodge in the Kalahari desert in the Mariental region.
We go on a late afternoon Game drive in the dunes.

Early in the morning, we go on a walk with a 'bushman' guide in the Kalahari Desert with its unique soil structure and vegetation. After the walk and breakfast our journey continue to Maltahöhe for lunch at an iconic old German hotel. The Nama Youth Choir will provide entertainment, run by the school of the village. The choir consist of children in colorful traditional Nama clothes sing traditional , songs.
We then cross the Nubib and Zaris mountain ranges and move through the Namib Naukluft, one of the largest national parks in the world. Dinner and overnight stay in a lodge in Sesriem.
Today is an early morning start.
We discover the Namib, the oldest desert in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Sossusvlei. You will see some of the highest dunes in the world, exceeding 300 meters.
You can climb Big Daddy dune and visit Deadvlei with iconic 800 year old dead trees on the driest place on earth.
We return to Sesriem for lunch at a restaurant before traveling north via the Kuiseb pass and a small village named Solitaire that became famous for its Apple tart. We will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and continue to Swakopmund.
After breakfast, we travel to Walvis Bay for a boat trip to Pelican Point. During the excursion, you can see bird species, such as flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, as well as seal colonies and oyster beds in the Walvis Bay Lagoon. After sightseeing and having lunch at a local restaurant we, return to Swakopmund for leisure time in the pleasant town.
Dinner will be at a local beach restaurant overlooking the sea. (own account)

After breakfast, we follow the skeleton coast where you can see the remains of an old stranded ship.
We then follow a desert road to Damaraland. You can also see Brandberg, the highest mountain in the country, with 2,573 meters in this region. After lunch at a local restaurant in an old mining town our journey continue to Twyfelfontein, famous for its geological formations.
Another World Heritage site listed by UNESCO, Twyfelfontein, has the richest rock paintings in Africa. These amazing and well-preserved paintings in a valley of red sandstone depict animals such as rhino, elephant, ostrich and giraffe, as well as humans and other animals. After a huge volcanic eruption that occurred 120 million years ago, the massive vertical basalt formations, which were formed by rapid cooling and called the organ pipe will also be visited.
Dinner and overnight stay in lodge close to Twyfelfontein.
After breakfast we turn east and visit the Petrified Forest, You will also see some Welwitschia Mirabilis, a plant that lives only in the foggy areas of the Namib Desert. We then continue to Kamanjab on the southern border of Kaokoland region for lunch. We visit a Himba village and continue to the world-renowned Etosha National Park.
Dinner and overnight stay in 'lodge 7 kilometers from the south-west entrance of the park.
Today, we do a safari tour from west to east in the 22 270 square kilometer Etosha National Park, which has a large lake and many small water holes with dense wildlife. It is possible to see black rhinoceros, lions and many antelope in this part of the park. In the late afternoon we check in at a lodge. Dinner and overnight.
After a good nights rest we exit the Park and continue to the Caprivi Strip, the greenest part of Namibia. You can see typical huts of the Kavango people at the many traditional villages in this region where water is abundant. Lunch will be in Rundu.
We then travel to Divundu in the afternoon and settle in our lodge on the banks of the Okavango River. Dinner and overnight stay in lodge.
Early morning we go on a safari to the Mahango Park on the Botswana border. In the protected Mahango reserve, located in the west of the Bwabwata National Park, many different animals such as elephant, buffalo, different antelope species, sable, and about 400 bird species can be found.
After the safari we return to our lodge for some leisure time.
We go on a late afternoon boat tour on the Okavango River to the Popa Waterfall where we might see some hippos. Lunch, dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast we travel via Congola in Eastern Caprivi Crossing the Bwabwata park, which is the largest national park of the Caprivi Strip. You will see many traditional villages on the road and also many wooden masks, drums and other artifacts which are common in the traditions of the Caprivi people. We then cross the Botswana border to arrive at our lodge in Kasane, which is the gateway to the Chobe National Park.
After settling in our 'lodge' on the shore of the Chobe River, we embark on a boat tour to observe the large wildlife population coming to the shores of the Chobe River until sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Guesthouse in Kasane.
Early in the morning we do a safari in Chobe Park, before we continue to the Zimbabwe border to enter Zimbabwe.
We continue to the Viktoria Waterfalls, 85 kilometers from Kasane for lunch.
After lunch we visit the waterfall on the Zimbabwe side. Overnight stay in a lodge in Victoria Falls.
Return Flight to your country from Zimbabwe
