Day 1: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

You will be met at Victoria Falls airport by the transfer company who will wait in arrivals with your name on a sign. They will transfer you to your accommodation. 

There are many activities available in the falls and we are happy to provide details and assist with booking these.  

Day 2: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

You do not need a guide to see the falls as the paths are clear and well signposted however if you prefer we are happy to book one for you. The Explorers village is withing walking distance of the falls, about 15-20 minutes. 

This evening you will have a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. You will be collected from your accommodation and transferred to the jetty to board the boat. You are on the luxury (standard) deck which is the middle and lower deck of the boat. Included you have non premium drinks and snacks as well as a guide to will point out any animals or points of interest. The cruise will last about 2.5 hours and after the sun sets you will be transferred back to your accommodation.

Day 3: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

This evening you will have dinner at The Boma which is the best place to enjoy some local flavor with an interactive drumming show and you can sample local dishes that are part of the extensive buffet dinner.

Day 4: Eastern Hwange National Park

Today you will be collected from your accommodation and transferred about 2.5 hours to Hwange where you will be met and transferred to Sable Sands. 

Here you have activities included such as game drives and walks, national park fees will be additional paid direct. 

Day 5: Eastern Hwange National Park

Day 7: Matobo National Park

Today you will have a transfer of 3-4 hours to Matopos and Big Cave. Here you are able to go on game drives, rhino tracking, guided hikes, walks, see rock paintings and Cecil Rhodes grave.  Any national park or monument fees will be additional paid direct. 

Day 8: Matobo National Park

Day 9: Lake Mutirikwi

Today you have a transfer of 5 hours to Great Zimbabwe, you will have a tour of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins and then the night at Norma Jeanes.

Day 10: Gonarezhou National Park

Today you will have a transfer of 5 hours to Gonarezhou and Chilo Gorge. 

Here you are able to go an game drives and walks on the concession or into the national park. You can also go on walks, have a community visit to the local village, enjoy sundowners on the river bed and have a trip to see the Chilojo Cliffs. 

Day 11: Gonarezhou National Park

Day 13: Harare

In the high season you will be able to have a flight at 15:00 landing in Harare at 16:30 where you will be collected and transferred to your guest house in the suburbs. 

In the low season the seat rate flight is not available so you will have a full day road transfer to Harare and an overnight in the guest house. 

Greystone Lodge is a lovely owner run property in the quiet suburbs, they will assist you with arrangements for dinner. 

Day 14: End of Itinerary

Sadly your final day has arrived and you will be collected and transferred to the airport to check in for your flight home, taking your amazing memories with you and dreaming of your next African adventure.
