Day 2: Cape Town

Enjoy breakfast at 08h00am, followed by a site inspection of More Quarters and time permitting, Cape Cadogan  

Check out and enjoy a Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour to Cape Point stopping with lunch in Kalk Bay followed by a wine tasting and 'braai' with the Southern Destinations team and friends in Constantia.

There after you will be transferred to Kloof Street Hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Cape Town

This morning at 07:30am you will meet for breakfast and site inspection with Teena Douglas.

Check out and depart on a Cape Town cultural tour - Cooking with spices experience in Bo Kaap and street art walking tour of Woodstock.

Arrive at the Mount Nelson Hotel in time for a site inspection and High Tea with Lise and Daisy from Southern Destinations and Cindy Boshoff from the Mount Nelson.

Day 4: Grootbos Private Nature Reserve

Enjoy breakfast and check out, departing at 09:00am. Drive along the whale coast, stopping at the penguin colony in Betty's Bay and a site inspection at Birkenhead house in Hermanus.

Day 5: Grootbos Private Nature Reserve

At a time advised by the lodge, you will be transferred to the harbor for your Shark Cage Diving Experience. The time of collection will be confirmed the day before and is dependent on the tides and weather.

Please note that this activity is weather dependent but also based on shark activity in the area at the time. Rescheduling may occur as a result.

Please bring along the following:

  • Warm clothing, towels, sunscreen & hat
  • Please use the appropriate medication well in advance if you are prone to motion sickness. 
  • It is advisable to wear your swimming costumes underneath your clothing as you will change into your wetsuits on board the boat.

Before the trip guests meet at the Great White House in Kleinbaai. You will receive breakfast or lunch (depending on your departure time) and register your wetsuit size. Guests receive a pre-trip safety briefing and a biological background on Great White Sharks, before walking 200m down to the harbour to board the boat.

Day 6: Paarl

Enjoy breakfast and check out.

08:00 departure to the wine country via scenic mountain passes and the town of Franschhoek. Site inspection at Delaire and light lunch at Babylonstoren. Arrive at Brookdale Estate in the Paarl winelands in time for afternoon activity. Dinner and overnight

Day 7: Kruger National Park

After breakfast, 07:00am road transfer to Cape Town airport for your scheduled flight to Skukuza airport.

*Please note check in for local flights is at least 1.5hrs prior to departure during the pandemic to ensure all Covid protocols are adhered to.

Depart on SA Airlink 4Z 651 at 10:35am, scheduled to land into Skukuza Airport at 1:05pm

Once here you will be met by a Lion Sands Tinga representative and transfer to Tinga lodge for your 2 night stay.

Vanessa will walk everyone over to InterContinental OR Tambo Hotel, where some will have their Covid Tests done with Next Pathologies


 At 5:00pm Hylton Ross will then transfer you to Peech Hotel for your overnight stay
