A perfect combination with sister camp Chiawa, Old Mondoro offers an intimate safari experience. Activities include 4x4 game drives boating, canoeing and catch and release fishing, but the camp is really known for its excellent walking opportunities. Otherwise, stay in camp, get comfy, and enjoy a lodge-based safari with the frequent elephant and hippo activity around camp.
4x4 safari from Old Mondoro to Jeki airstrip. Fly from Jeki airstrip to Mfuwe Airport, via Lusaka, with Proflight. 4x4 safari from Mfuwe Airport to Mfuwe Lodge (open year-round).
Arrive at Mfuwe Lodge and enjoy the enviable surroundings (with a G&T, of course) before starting your journey down to the Bushcamps.

Kuyenda Bushcamp is surrounded by diverse landscapes including salt pans, dry river beds, mopane woodland, the Luangwa River and open plains. The bushcamp comprises 3 twin rondavels (queen size beds), and 2 double rondavels (king size beds). Each ronadavel is made of thatch and grass and has an en-suite with a shower (with hot and cold running water), double vanity, toilet and bathroom amenities.

Located on the banks of an oxbow lagoon which is frequented by game all year round, Chindeni Bushcamp has four spacious canvas tents raised on wooden decks and a central dining area, deck and bar with stunning views towards the Chindeni Hills. The camp comprises 2 twin tents (queen size beds) and 2 double tents (king size bed each). Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a wash basin, toilet and shower with cold and solar-heated water.
