La Casa Del Suizo 3 Days

Your trip begins from Quito, in private transportation to the first stop, at Papallacta, famous for its hostsprings. You will stay for 3 hours enjoying the facilities of Termas de Papallacta hostsprings. After lunch, you will continue your trip to the Amazonic region of the country, while watching the amazing change odf landscpae between the highlands and the amazonic region. The trip ends at Punta Ahuano a small port city at the riverside of Napo, where the canoes will be waiting to takle you to Casa del Suizo, you will arrive on time to be recieved by the staff and a welcome drink.

You day begins with an early breakfast Then you will start with a walk through primary and secondary forests, where you will observe distinct species of birds and insects, along with a great variety of medicinal plants and trees. Then you will have the opportunity to experience the construction of a balsa, and then you will have the opportunity to use it on Napo river, for approximately one hour. After this activity will return to Casa del Suizo, for lunch, and in the early afternoon you will head to La Isla, where you will walk for an hour, around a fluvial island, while observing a great variety of plants and insects. Later this day, you will visit the mariposario (Butterfly House), where you will see the incredible life cycles of the butterflies.

After breakfast you will check out and get onboard the canoe to return to Punta Ahuano, then you will get onboard a bus back to Quito. Half of the way, the bus will stop to have a box lunch
