Welcome to Mendoza!!

Upon arrival in Mendoza airport you will meet you driver who will transfer you to the selected Hotel. 

In the afternoon you will enjoy a City Tour of Mendoza, founded by the Spaniards more than four centuries ago. You will visit Independence Square, the main avenues and the civic area, the foundational area, the Aquarium, General San Martin Park and the Cerro de la Gloria (Glory's Mount) , from where you will have a stunning panoramic view of the city.

After the tour, you will be transfered to your Hotel to rest and get prepared for a spectacular day ahead!

Today, after breakfast you will go on a scenic and enriching half day  Tour of Wineries and La Carrodilla Church.

 Mendoza  is one of the most qualified areas for high quality wine production in the world. Yearly, 70% out of the total wine national production is done in Mendoza for national markets as well as for the international ones.  This circuit allows you to appreciate the hard work of men who dominated the desert and allowed the extraction of the best fruit of the earth. You will contact the work culture developed by immigrants, using irrigation techniques (canals and ditches) inherited from the former Aborigins called Huarpes that managed to change a vast desert into a productive oasis. It is the scene of the settlement of prestigious wineries positioning Argentina as a world international producer due to high quality of its wines. You will  visit different wineries to observe the wine making process and to taste different varieties of our best Argentinean wines.

You will then return to the Hotel to enjoy another relaxing evening in this wonderful city. 

Today is at leisure. We suggest a tour to the High Mountain Peaks:

* Mount Aconcagua Provincial Park: The tour offers a variety of colors and reliefs. Early in the morning you will leave along the Mendoza River, getting views of the majestic mountain Cordon del Plata and the Potrerillos dam, a colossal work for hydraulic power generation and water distribution for irrigation. 
Your next visit will be Uspallata, a pre-Hispanic settlement of Huarpes aborigin and the southernmost point where the Inca Empire arrive to through their famous Inca Trail.  You will visit the Vaults of Uspallata, historic "adobe" (mud) buildings where chaplain Fray Luis Beltran melted cannons and guns. Later you will visit the villages of Picheuta, Polvareda, Punta de Vacas and Los Penitentes ski resort including some free time to go up the chairlift which allows you to enjoy beautiful panoramic views. 
Continuing the tour and 2750 meters above sea level, you will arrive to the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the colossus of the Americas of 6959 meters, from where you can go to the Laguna Horcones and the Aconcagua Provincial Park. 
Following the international route to reach our ultimate destination: the village Las Cuevas, European-style located 3200 meters above sea level.  Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, is the path that allows you to ascend to the "Cristo Redentor" monument, located 4200 meters above sea level, which symbolizes the union between Argentines and Chileans people.

* Atuel River Canyon for a rafting experience: Leaving from Mendoza City, heading to the south of the province, you will know an important natural constrast of productive oasis, such as the Uco Valley, deserts, mirrors of water, large sculptural walls with natural rock formations, product of the erosion from wind and water. You  will arrive at the 25 de Mayo town to be in touch with the history, as in this place in the bank of Diamante River in 1805, was founded San Rafael Fort. The principal village was set up in the sourroundings of the fort and later, was moved to its current location.
You will continue until we reach the Nihuil dam of 9600 hectares. Chosen by nature lovers due to the possibility of practicing fishing, hiking, water sports and relax.
