Welcome to Zimbabwe: Gateway to Adventure!
Harare Arrival & Orientation
After landing at Harare International Airport (HRE), proceed through immigration. Most foreign visitors can obtain their tourist visa on arrival (USD 30 per person, single entry) provided passports are valid for at least six months. Please note: Zimbabwe requires all visitors to complete an online visa application prior to travel, available at www.evisa.gov.zw, where payment can also be made.
Once you’ve cleared immigration and customs, you’ll be met by our local team who will assist with the collection of your 4x4 rental vehicles. Typically these will be Toyota Fortuners or Hilux Double Cabs (or similar), provided on a full-cover basis with:
Unlimited kilometers

GPS navigation
From the airport, it is a 30–40 minute drive (20 km) into central Harare to reach your hotel. Check-in on arrival.
Depending on your arrival time, lunch is at leisure (payable direct). The afternoon is yours to relax and settle in: enjoy the lodge’s pool, stop at a local grocery store for road-trip supplies, or take a short drive through Harare’s leafy avenues. If time permits, consider visiting the National Art Gallery or one of the city’s renowned Shona sculpture gardens for a taste of Zimbabwe’s artistic heritage.
