Not yet explored and still in its natural state, they cause an impact on visitors that make them feel a deep communion with Nature. In this ecosystem, thousand of life forms coexist: trees, shrubs, lianas, epiphyte plants, birds, mammals, reptiles, fishes and amphibians in a delicate net of balance. Day 4: Northeast Argentina

Today you will be at leisure to explore nature, dicover cultures and connect with your innerself. We suggest some of the following activities:  -

- hiking and trekking: Every day we look for new adventures in order to discover new cascades, water falls and overlooks in more than ten paths which are immersed in the heart of the jungle. During the day or under the stars of the missioner sky, you can travel many kilometers  always accompanied by a native baqueano who knows all the secrets of the surrounding biodiversity and thousands of amazing stories about the local culture.

- wildlife watching: There is life wherever you look at: it is the ideal place to discover the jungle from a new perspective and connect with the essence of nature. Here you will be able to observe birds, mammals, reptiles, butterflies, mushrooms, orchids, ferns, trees and fingerprints everywhere.

-  kayaking: Ideally thought for outdoor activities lovers. In the Paraíso river you  have the possibility of delving into its beautiful and crystalline waters during the whole year. You can use the kayaks for making short and relaxing walks over the calm water close to the lodge or venturing in the ones that are further but accompanied by a guide.

- participatory cuisine: During warm nights we like to light up fire by the river and we create typical dishes in the grill or stove, like a good Argentinian barbeque or an exquisite chicken with beer sauce. We like to share big stories and good wines, being accompanied by the fire and the incredible missioner sky. We invite you to participate in the experience of cooking in the stove and revel in incredible flavors of the argentine cuisine

- nature regeneration: You can help with the local production of food in the agro ecological farm, in the creation of natural fertilizers that come out of organic waste we generate or taking care of edible forest. You can also help with the production of bio gas in order to cook or to restore biomass in order to heat water and heat ourselves. Our focus is to help restore the Paraná jungle. You can also help to reproduce native plants at the greenhouse or plant trees where the jungle has been deforested.

Day 5: End of Itinerary

Today, after having breakfast, you will go on one last tour before continuing your journey.

At scheduled time, a transfer from El Soberbio will take you to San Ignacio Mini, one of the most prosperous Jesuit missions founded in 1610 in the Guairá area, currently state border between Paraná and São Paulo, Brazil. In 1631 after the attack of the bandeirantes, father Antonio Ruiz de Montoya starts an exodus with approximately 12.000 Indians sailing down the Paraná river. After a hard trip, about 4000 surviving Indians reach the banks of the Yabebirí river, tributary of the Paraná, modern-day province of Misiones, Argentina. Due to the inadequate conditions of the place, they look for a third place to establish (1695/1696), what are currently the ruins of San Ignacio Miní. The mission was completely destroyed by the armies in 1816, with the Jesuits already expelled. The church, centered on the axe of the grand square, a characteristic of all missions was of large dimensions. The structure that supported the ceiling was made out of long and thick hard wood logs. The place was divided into three naves. The walls had approximately two meters in height in the inferior part and were reduced to one meter in the superior part. All decoration was certainly polychromatic wood painted with strong colors and profusion of golden. Around all the mission there were trenches in form of pits to protect from eventual attacks. At the end of the tour you can visit a museum with considerable interesting local pieces found during the excavations.

After the visit, you will be transferrd to Posadas airport to board a flight to your next destination. We hope to see you back soon!
