Arrival at Ivato international airport. You will be met at the airport by our team and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival, your Madagascar travel consultant will meet you at the hotel for a general briefing on your stay and activities.

In the event of a late flight, the briefing will take place the following day.

Early morning transfer for your flight to Diego Suarez! 

Antsiranana (Diégo-Suarez) is the capital of the DIANA region, located at the northern tip of the island, and the island's third port. Lined with colonial buildings, it is rich in human and cultural capital, as well as land and sea resources. This is why Diégo has become a dream destination, offering a multitude of land and water-based activities in a breathtaking landscape of white sandy beaches and imposing mountain ranges.  

Upon your arrival, our team will welcome you and take you into town for breakfast. You will then be transferred to the Emerald Sea, where your hotel is located.  

Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, or take part in the activities offered by the hotel.

For today, discover the incredible beauty of the Emerald Sea on a boat trip. Located in the north of Madagascar, this heavenly destination offers crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery, perfect for an escape day. 

For thrill-seekers, the Emerald Sea is an ideal spot for kite surfing. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, you can take advantage of the constant winds and shallow waters for a memorable kite surfing session. A qualified instructor will be on hand to guide you and teach you the basics if necessary (at your own expense).

Today, your day begins with a boat transfer from the Emerald Sea to Diégo-Suarez.

Upon arrival in Diégo-Suarez, your vehicle will be waiting to take you on an excursion to Montagne des Français. Explore its hiking trails, discover unique flora and fauna, and admire historical remains dating back to the French colonial period. From the summits, enjoy breathtaking views over the bay of Diégo-Suarez and the surrounding area.

Montagne des Français owes its name to the site's occupation by the French military in the 20th century. It features a monument to the Malagasy and French dead, many of whom perished in the 1942 battle for the liberation of Antsiranana by the Allied armies.

Depending on your physical condition, you can choose the tour you would like to take with your local guide.

At the end of the visit, return to your hotel, where you can enjoy the rest of the day.

Today, you will visit Ankorikahely, located in the Ramena Protected Area, on the famous Diego Suarez bay. 

You will meet the team Riziky, the village welcome team. A team of the AVIMA (Accueil Villageois Malagasy) that takes care of this part of the North. On the program: canoeing in the mangroves, discovery of historical remains and endemic flora and fauna, Richelieu lace crafts, painted faces. 

A lunch with typical northern Malagasy dishes will be serverd to you in the village.

Another AVIMA village on the program for today. This is Betahitra, still in the protected area of Ramena.

You will discover the history and way of life of the Antakarana, as well as their sacred places. You will visit "the pharmacy in the garden", the Valley of Baobabs and the Valley of Parrots. 

Lunch in the village will be served.  

After the visit, you will take the RN6 towards Joffreville where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, departure for a hike in the Montagne d'Ambre National Park. 

Renowned for its brookesia, the world's smallest chameleon, crowned lemurs, mangosteens and primary forests.

Montagne d'Ambre National Park is located at an altitude of 1,475 m, making it the only wetland in the DIANA region, like an oasis in the middle of a semi-arid region. The park is one of Madagascar's most irrigated areas, with a rainfall of around 3,585 mm, and is characterized by wilderness, rivers and lakes, torrents and waterfalls.

After this rich visit, return to the hotel. Rest and relaxation.

Today, your route from Joffreville to Iharana Bush Camp will take you through varied landscapes, with a must-see along the way: the Tsingy Rouges.

Your day begins early in the morning in Joffreville, and on the way you'll reach the Tsingy Rouges, an exceptional geological formation located near the region's ancient capital.

The Tsingy Rouges are renowned for their unique rock formations, sculpted by erosion over time. These red-tinged rock peaks create a spectacular, almost supernatural landscape. Venture into this fascinating site, where you will have the opportunity to explore the trails and admire the impressive geological formations. The panoramic views and lunar landscapes you will discover will be highlights of your visit.

After spending some time exploring these wonders, you will continue on your way to Iharana Bush Camp.

Arrival at the end of the afternoon, enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure.

Visit of the Tsingy de l'Ankarana Ouest.

A circuit designed by speleologist Jean Claude Dobrilla, just for you, is the access route for this hike into the heart of the Tsingy.

It was designed by the world's leading Tsingy specialist, Jean Claude Dobrilla, who is also the man behind the development of Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. A year of work, expeditions and training to create this unique trek to the center of the earth, accessible to all.

The biodiversity and endemic ecosystem of the Tsingy de l'Ankarana Ouest will be revealed to you during this adventure. If you are a keen photographer, do not forget your camera! Lemurs, butterflies, a wide variety of vegetation, invertebrates and birds will be waiting to meet you.

On the agenda: meeting and sharing!

Departure for a guided tour in Anjavimilay. Meet the villagers and discover an authentic rural atmosphere and way of life.

Lunch in the village, where the meal is prepared by an embroidery association (FIVEMI), in a hut restaurant financed by Finistère. The association is trained in the production of local spices and the support of local embroiderers, with all proceeds from visits going back to the villages for social actions.

In the afternoon, return to Ankify, via the Sambirano bridge, to admire the sunset.

Happy Valley. This is the name of the tour that awaits you in the Haut du Sambirano today.

Exploring the Haut du Sambirano Valley, discovering its huge plantations, rice fields and small hamlets. In the village of Ambobaka, a tour allows you to visit this place known for its traditional healers. From the bridge that spans the Ramena River, a nice canoe ride leads to the "Cascade des Bons Pères" (Cascade of the Good Fathers). Picnic lunch by the water. Relax in this Garden of Eden and swim under the waterfalls and in the natural pools.

In the morning, transfer to the port of Ankify for a boat transfer to Nosy Be. The crossing takes around 01h30. 

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed and off you go for an interesting tour! Lokobe

This protected nature reserve is the last primary forest of Nosy Be. It covers the south-eastern part and extends over 740ha. Many varieties of medicinal plants endemic to Madagascar and ancient trees (palm trees, ferns, orchids, pandanus and epiphytic plants...) coexist with more than 350 animal species (insects, primates, lemurs - including one endemic to the reserve, the Eulemur macaco - frogs, chameleons, birds, reptiles...)to the delight of all lovers of flora and fauna happy.

Follow your guide through this dense rainforest and enter a unique plant world!

You will then be transferred to your hotel. Installation, relax and enjoy your evening.

In the afternoon, head to Mont Passot to admire the sunset over the Mozambique Channel. At the top, a Sundowner cocktail will be offered.

After this wonderful end to the day, return to the hotel for your last night in Nosy Be.

Your program for the day will depend on your flight schedule.

In case of a morning or afternoon flight, you will simply take your time to relax before the transfer to the airport. If it is an evening flight, you have the option to take a morning excursion to one of the surrounding islands (optional and to be arranged with the hotel) if you wish.

However, when the time to leave comes, a car will drive you to the airport for your international flight.
