Day 1: Victoria Falls (Zambia)

On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation in Livingstone. Unpack and relax before considering a late afternoon Sunset Cruise

THE AFRICAN QUEEN CRUISE - THE ULTIMATE RIVER CRUISE EXPERIENCE - US$ 130 per person.

Collection for this spectacular two and a half hour cruise is at 15h30 in winter, and 16h00 in summer. Return transfers from local Livingstone hotels are included in the rate.

Enjoy an hour cruise on a river safari boat with a stop-off at one of the islands for drinks and snacks.

Join the African Queen or African Princess an hour later to toast the setting sun.

On returning to the Royal Landing, you will be transferred back to your hotel at approximately 18h00 in winter and 18h30 in summer.

Day 4: Victoria Falls (Zambia)

LIVINGSTONE ISLAND TOUR or better know as DEVIL’S POOL - From US$ 100

Livingstone Island is a 5-8 minute boat ride from the Royal Livingstone Hotel and is located in the middle of the Zambezi River right on the edge of the Victoria Falls just before the water thunders down a 103 metre drop. To protect the sensitive environment, only 16 guests may visit at any one time during five daily departures. Access is restricted to a maximum of 80 visitors per day so it is highly recommended to book a Livingstone Island Tour in advance.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Access to this unique Island is seasonal and depends entirely on the water level in the Zambezi River.

In low water season, approximately end of August to December, guests have the opportunity to swim in Devil’s Pool which is a rock pool right on the lip of the falls accompanied by a guide.

Access to Devil’s pools is available on all 5 slots.

Day 5: Chobe River Front

Today you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Chobe Game Lodge -  this is  a 2 hour drive.

On arrival you will check into your room and your daily activities and inclusions will then begin.

12h30 - Lunch is served.

15h00 - Afternoon tea is served on the deck (weather permitting).

15h30 - Depart for afternoon activity (approximately 3 hours).

18h30 - Arrive back at lodge.

19h30 - Dinner is served at a designated dining location for the evening.

US Dollars (and SA Rand at certain outlets) will be accepted for payment in Botswana.

Summer (October - March): Winter will be only 15 minutes later on all the summer times shown.

04h45 - Early morning wake up call.

05h00 - Tea, coffee, muffins, rusks and fruits served.

05h30 - Leave for morning activity (approximately one and half hours).

08h30 - Back to the lodge and full breakfast is served.

10h30 - Mid morning boat cruise.

12h30 - Lunch is served.

15h30 - Afternoon tea is served on the deck (weather permitting).

16h00 - Depart for afternoon activity (approximately 3 hours).

19h00 - Arrive back at lodge.

19h30 - Dinner is served at a designated dining location for the evening.
