Day 1: Arusha

Activities and Services

Arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Just before the immigration area you will meet our representative with a sign board with your name written on it. He will assist you through the passport and visa control, escort you to the luggage and customs area and then to your driver. Transfer to Arusha town. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Eastern Serengeti

Activities and Services

Breakfast. Transfer to Arusha airport, flight to Serengeti. Upon arrival meet your driver-guide and start the safari on the way to your lodge for lunch. Evening game drive in the park and dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Eastern Serengeti

Activities and Services

Full day safari in the most famous National Park of the world - Serengeti. Breakfast and dinner at the lodge and picnic lunch will be served in the bush.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Activities and Services

Breakfast and morning game drive in Serengeti on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will go down to the bottom of the unique Ngorongoro crater, the largest non-flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. Game drive with picnic lunch near a crater lake. After safari you will continue your journey to your lodge located between another craters - Olmoti and Empakaai. Dinner

Day 5: Karatu

Activities and Services

You will start your morning with a breakfast overlooking the valley. Then will go to visit local Maasai community in one of the neighbouring villages to learn about the traditional way of life that has defined this corner of Africa for centuries. After the village visit you will be taken to Empakaai Crater for a short trekking accompanied by a ranger and walk to the crate rim where you can see the soda lake on the crater floor, famous for the pink flamingo that congregate on its shores. Picnic lunch will be served near the Empakaai rim.

Then drive back to Ngorongoro crater and a bit further to Karatu town. In the past, the area around Karatu and Ol Deani was of great importance to the German colonial administration. The area’s cool climate, verdant hills, and pleasing views make it popular with settlers and farmers.

Vast and extensive fields cover the slopes of the volcano and the lands around Karatu town. Coffee was a main crop grown for export, and a few large farms that remained in private hands still cultivate the cash crop on the hills and small valleys outside of town. Day 6: Lake Eyasi

Activities and Services

After the breakfast you will have 1,5 hour drive to Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. This arid land became home for Hadza (Hadzabe) people, isolated bushman tribe group related to Khoisan tribes of South Africa. You will visit one of the their settlements and get acquainted with their traditional way of life. Hadzabe's nearest neighbours are the Datoga people - Nilotic people whose main activity is livestock and forging metal tips for arrows for trading with Hadzabe. Lunch and lazy afternoon at the lodge. Dinner

Day 7: Tarangire National Park

Activities and Services

Breakfast and and drive to Lake Manyara National park famous for the pink flamingoes and tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch in the park near Hot Springs called in Swahili - Maji Moto. Drive to Tarangire National Park, game drive on the way to the lodge for dinner.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park

Activities and Services

Full day safari in Tarangire. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. This park has some of the highest population density of elephants as compared to anyway in Tanzania. Thousands of baobab trees scattered across its territory also give the park a special beauty. Breakfast and dinner at the lodge, picnic lunch will be served in the park.

Day 9: End of Itinerary

Activities and Services

Breakfast, morning game drive in Tarangire and drive to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport
