Days 1 - 4: Cape Town

Welcome!

You arrived in Cape Town and it is time to get into holiday mode. A 45 minutes drive from the airport will bring you to your hotel. From your window you can see the Atlantic Ocean.

The first 2 days will be spent in and around the hotel. The hotel is comfortable and relaxing, but as soon as you rested enough, there is plenty you can do in just a short walking distance. You can walk along the promenade just outside your hotel - an easy stroll to the lighthouse or find a nice beach to chill and look for sea shells. There are also some bikes to rent if you want a longer journey, and the beautiful Green Point Park is in a short walking distance, with a lovely playground, restaurants and huge lawns.

The 4rd day will be dedicated for sightseeing - Table Mountain and the waterfront, with the Aquarium, shops and restaurants. You can relay on public transport such as Uber for those first 4 days.

Included

Transfer from airport to Winchester Hotel

Day 5: Cape Town

Still in Cape Town, but today you will pick up the rented car and drive to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope. In the reserve, you will do a short hike to the lighthouse, explore the beautiful beaches and see some wildlife - look out for ostriches, baboons and antelopes that live here at the tip of Africa.

On the drive back towards Cape Town, you will pass through the lovely village Simon's Town. You MUST stop at Boulders Beach to explore the penguins Colony, and if it is warm enough - you can jump to the water along with the penguins - at the beach right next to the colony.

Drive back to the hotel for your last night in Cape Town.

Goodbye to Cape Town, the real journey begins with a long drive through the green hills and the autumn bloom towards the Garden Route.

After a long drive with many beautiful stops, you will get the Wilderness, where the mountains meet the ocean.
