Day 1: Okahandja

Today you arrive at Windhoek International Airport latest at 13h00. You will be met by your English-speaking driver/guide and depart  to your accommodation situated between Windhoek and Okahandja (around a 2-hour transfer). Depending on your time of arrival at the lodge, you may take part in an afternoon sundowner drive offered by the lodge (additional cost).

Day 2: Ghana

This morning you leave to the north through beautiful farmland and scenic mountain bushlands to your lodge close to Otjiwarongo (around a 3-hour and 30 minute transfer).. On your way, you may stop at the craft markets in Okahandja. Continue to Otjiwarongo and check in at your lodge. In the afternoon, you take part on an afternoon non-private sundowner game drive on the private reserve of the lodge.

Day 3: Etosha East

Today you are leaving to Etosha National Park, one of the largest national parks in Africa (around a 5-hour and 30 minute transfer). After checking into your lodge situated on the border of the Etosha National Park, you will leave on a sundowner to a private waterhole that is only accessible by King Nehale.  Enjoy the game viewing with some snacks and local drinks offered by the lodge as the sun sets. 

Day 4: Etosha East

The cooler morning time is when you have the most chance of meeting lions, leopards, or other predators. An early wake-up allows for a departure just before sunrise for a full day guided safari in the park with your tour guide and 4x4 vehicle of the tour. You enter the park for your first game viewing excursion, exploring the various waterholes located close to Namutoni and the Von Lindequist gate. Etosha offers one of the world's most beautiful wildlife encounters. 

Day 5: Etosha South

Another exciting day of wildlife viewing is waiting for you. You cross the park from East to West with your guide and a 4x4 vehicle, while stopping at waterholes on the way where you might encounter elephants, kudus, oryx, giraffes, zebras. At the end of the day, you exit the park through the Anderson Gate and check in at the lodge outside of the park gate late in the afternoon.

Day 6: Twyfelfontein

Your travels take you further west to the rugged Twyfelfontein area  (around a 5-hour and 30 minute transfer). On the way you stop to visit the petrified forest. The late afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the environment of your lodge.

Day 7: Twyfelfontein

In the morning, start the day’s adventure with a visit of Twyfelfontein. In the afternoon depart on a guided 4 x 4 excursion that takes you in search of desert-adapted elephants in the dry beds of the Huab and/or Aba-Huab rivers.

Day 8: Swakopmund

After breakfast depart south to Uis, a small mining town with a view of the Brandberg, Namibia's highest peak. Continue to Swakopmund, the coastal town of Namibians (around a 6-hour transfer). After reaching the coast, and doing a quick visit of Swakopmund, the rest of the afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 9: Swakopmund

Swakopmund is often considered as the “playground of Namibia” for its numerous activities. Enjoy the day of sightseeing, shopping, strolling on the beach or activities (at extra cost) such as scenic flights, quad biking, boat cruises. Your guide is available for transfers and assistance with activity bookings.

Day 10: Sesriem

This morning the road continues south into the heart of the Namib Desert, the seas of sand, also declared a UNESCO World Heritage site (around a 7-hour transfer). After long drive you can relax around the bar, refresh yourself at the pool with stunning view over the magnificent desert. or enjoy the beautiful desert sunset. 

Day 11: Sesriem

The best time to visit this magical place is from sunrise. Depart with your guide and tour vehicle to enjoy the spectacular sight or some of the highest dunes in the world and the morning colours of the Namib Desert. Before returning to your lodge, visit the Sesriem Canyon, a natural gorge carved millions of years ago by the once mighty Tsauchab River. This afternoon you have a sundowner drive combined with a bush dinner (bush dinner will be subject to weather conditions).

Day 12: End of Itinerary

Before departing back to Windhoek why not to spoil yourself with a hot air balloon or helicopter flight over the desert just after sunrise (optional activity at additional cost). You travel back through an ever-changing landscape via the Khomashochland mountain range. Continue with your tour guide and 4x4 vehicle to Windhoek International Airport for your return flight leaving Windhoek not earlier than 16h00 (around a 6-hour transfer). 

Check in for your International flight 4-hours before departure. It's advise to book your flights after 20h00 to avoid rushing.
