Day 1: Nairobi National Park

When you land in Nairobi, you will be met by a representative of the Emakoko and transferred to the lodge. If time permits, you can go on a game drive in Nairobi National Park, or visit the Giraffe centre, or the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (entrance charges for excursions payable direct).

Activities and Services

Day 2: Mara Naboisho Conservancy

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight into the Mara Naboisho Conservancy. Once you land at the airstrip, you will be met by your guide and have a game drive to the lodge.

Day 3: Mara Naboisho Conservancy

Full day game drives in the Maasai Mara.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti

Today, you have quite a long journey into the Serengeti. From the Maasai Mara, you will fly to a town called Migori, from where you will be transferred across the border into Tanzania. Once in Tanzania, you will board another flight to the Serengeti. When you land there, you will be met by your guide and enjoy a game drive to the lodge. A lunch will be packed for your journey.

From December to May, you will stay in Sayari and from June - November, you will stay in Olakira Migration Camp in the Northern Serengeti.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti

Full-day game drive in northern Serengeti.

Day 6: Central Serengeti

The Serengeti is a massive park and today you will head further south, to explore a new section of the park. As always, you will be met by your guide when you land in central Serengeti and have a game drive to your new lodge.

Full day game drives in central Serengeti.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

After your last breakfast in the Serengeti, you will have a game drive to Seronera Airstrip, from where you will fly to Lake Manyara Airstrip. It is then a +-1 hour transfer to your lodge, situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater and tomorrow you will descend into the crater for a game drive.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater

On reaching the crater’s edge, the 19 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard.

Day 10: End of Itinerary

It is about an hour drive to Lake Manyara Airstrip, from where you will fly to the town of Arusha, where your safari ends. We can arrange post-tour accommodation in Arusha if you would like.
