You begin your holiday with some relaxation and rejuvenation time in the beautiful Drakensberg Escarpment area for a couple of nights. On arrival at Kruger International Airport, you collect your Group H rental car (Audi A4 or similar) and head to Summerfields Rose Retreat in the Drakensberg escarpment area. The Drakensberg escarpment provides welcome relaxation after the excitement of a wedding. Transfer to Private Kruger Reserve for 3 nights on Safari, Fully Inclusive
Once you are ready to face the early morning game drives, you are transferred by road to one of South Africa’s prime private game reserves which shares open borders with the Kruger National Park.

Safari in the Sabi Sands (or Timbavati) Private Game Reserve
Enjoy game drives in the early morning and evening to enjoy game viewing when the animals are most active. Game drives are conducted by experienced rangers and Shangaan trackers in open 4×4 vehicles, with excellent photographic opportunities. You traverse over 18,000 hectares of the finest big game country, with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo thriving alongside giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope.



Fly to Cape Town & drive to the Cape Winelands for 2 nights at La Cotte Hotel in Franschhoek, B&B
Today after a final early morning game drive, you are transferred back to the Kruger Airport for your flight to Cape Town (flight not included in the tour price).
On arrival at Cape Town, you collect your rental car and drive to the Winelands where you spend 2 nights.
The Cape Winelands is an exquisite area of rocky mountains overlooking green vineyards. Oak avenues lead to elegant Cape Dutch wine estates and some of the most charming towns and villages in South Africa. The pleasure of this region is the enjoyment of the good life: appreciating the wine and the unique Cape architecture; savouring long, lazy meals at one of the many excellent restaurants; or browsing in the craft studios and art galleries.
