Chad 10 day itinerary

On arrival in N’Djamena you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the night. 

Day 2-3: After breakfast we will depart N'Djamena and drive towards Zakouma, south east of N’Djamena, crossing the Guera region characterised by its spectacular granite formations (inselbergs) and its ethnological variety. We will spend one night camping in the desert on the way in near Mongo underneath the stars

Day 3- 8: We will arrive at Tinga Lodge where we will be spending the next 6 nights. Here we will explore the park by car on morning and evening drives with a local ranger and your tour leaders we are also permitted to walk in the park with the ranger should we wish to get out the vehicle. On one of the evenings we will camp overnight on the famous plains in order to maximise the time here with a fantastic bush dinner under the stars. 

 Day 8-9: We will depart Tinga Lodge and head back to N'Djamena, along the way we will free camp for one night. 

Today we will drive back to N'Djamena and check into the hotel for our final evening. We will go for a special dinner to try roasted camel meat, a speciality in Chad! 

This morning we will have our final breakfast together before your transfer to the airport for your flight home!
