Great Plains Botswana Green Season (9 nights)

Day notes

On arrival at Maun International Airport, clear Botswana immigration. You will be met in the arrival hall by a Great Plains Conservation  representative, who will assist you to your light aircraft flight to Gomoti Plains Camp.

There are limited international flights into Maun, and most people would arrive on a flight from Johannesburg or Cape Town. These flights arrive between 1 and 2pm. The small charter flights to the safari camps in the Okavango, depart around 2pm.

Flight time from Maun to Gomoti is 15minutes.  On arrival at the Qorokwe Airstrip, you will be met by your guide for a 30 minute game drive transfer to the camp. Arrive in time for high tea and an evening safari activity.

Enjoy two days of safari activities in the Gomoti area, which is the ideal location for your first safari excursions. Activities include game drives and possible water activities, if water levels are high enough.

Day notes

After a morning safari activity from Gomoti and breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip, for a scheduled light air flight across the Okavango to Duba Explorers Camp.

Located in the heart of the 'Delta', you can experience activities from 4x4 safari vehicles, dug out canoes (mekoro), fishing and boating.

Enjoy four days of exceptional safari activities in this pristine wildlife region.

Day notes

After a morning safari activity from Duba Explorer and breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip, for a scheduled light air flight north to the Selinda Reserve and Selinda Camp.

Located on the edge of the Linyanti River, you can experience activities from 4x4 safari vehicles and boats. Recently re built, Selinda Camp is now a premier safari property, and ideal location to end your Botswana safari.

Enjoy two days of exciting safari activities along the Linyanti River.

Day notes

After a final safari activity and breakfast, you will be flown by scheduled light air flight to the town of Kasane. On arrival, you will be met by the Great Plains representative, and be assisted to a scheduled road transfer across the border into Zimbabwe and on to the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel.

Arrive at the hotel by about 3:00pm, and in time to walk down to the actual Falls ( 10minute walk). Then enjoy an evening cocktail on the veranda of the hotel, with its view down to famous bridge and falls beyond.

Canadians require a visa, obtainable on arrival and currently US$75 per single entry. If you are including the Zambia side of Falls in your visit, request a Univisa, which allows entry into both countries.

Day notes

After breakfast, you will be collected from the hotel, for a road transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport. Connect with your onward flights.
