Having arrived at Lusaka International Airport, you will connect to Mfuwe Airport in South Luangwa NP and be warmly met by Kaingo Camp who will transfer you on your first game drive into Kaingo itself through the Park.
Here you will enjoy 3 nights and days of expertly guided game drives and guided walks and enjoying time in the photographic hides!
The next two nights will be spent at Mwamba Bush Camp. The game around Mwamba is excellent; large herds of buffalo, zebra, eland and in particular Cookson’s wildebeest (one of the last herds in the South Luangwa National Park are found on the plains and in the Mopane/Crocodile bark woodlands close to camp). They are followed by the “Mwamba” lion pride. Once more Mwamba has superb photographic hides to enjoy all the wildlife up close but from safety!
The Lower Zambezi National Park is known for its exceptional, undeveloped wildlife areas. The landscape features rugged unspoilt wilderness made up of vast floodplains scattered with woodlands. Your last three nights will be spent at the gorgeous Chiawa Camp on the banks of the Zambezi River where as well as canoeing the mighty Zambezi river, you will also enjoy wonderfully guided walks and game drives.
Sadly, your final day has arrived and you will have a flight to Lusaka. from Mfuwe to connect with your outbound flight home or your next destination.
