This morning on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you are met and transferred to your lodge in the Arusha region.
Afternoon game drive.
On the next morning set out into the bush on foot. A walking safari offers you the opportunity to focus on the smaller details and on the ecosystems of the bush while at the same time having the thrill of stalking larger game on foot.
After breakfast, you transfer to Arisha Airstrip for your flight over Lake Manyara. On arrival at Manyara Airstrip you will be met by a driver guide and enjoy a drive through the coffee plantations to the Ngorongoro Highlands.
An early start the next day is in order to be at the park by 06:00 to avoid the parties of tourists.Have your packed lunch under the trees on the crater floor.
The following day is an early start the next day is in order to be at the park by 06:00 to avoid the parties of tourists in the Ngorongoro Crater. Down on the crater floor there is an abundance of wildlife including black rhino, wildebeest, zebra and eland. There are a number of lion which are typically larger in size than an average lion due the large amount of game in the area.
Have your packed lunch under the trees on the crater floor, but keep an eye out for the monkey’s which are always keen to take your food. In the mid-afternoon, you return to The Highlands.
In the late afternoon, a guide will take you to one of the nearby Maasai villages, where you can learn more about this rich culture and take part in their afternoon activities, which often include rounding up cattle into the boma for the night.
After an early breakfast, you head to Manyara Airstrip.. Here you say farewell to your driver guide and board your flight to Seronera Airstrip in the Central Serengeti (45 mins flight).
Dunia Camp has superb game viewing all year round from its secluded location in the south west corner of the Central Seronera Valley in the heart of the Serengeti. This area is renowned for its abundance of game, especially big cats and is right in the path of the extraordinary annual Great Migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra.
Dunia Activities the first day
After lunch at camp there is time to unwind and relax. Then you head out for a late afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle to seek out the herds of zebra and wildebeest and their attendant predators. The day culminates with the sunset sliding into the Serengeti plains whilst you enjoy your favourite drink.
Dunia Camp is a small and intimate camp with eight tented suites. It is designed to give a sense of being immersed in nature while still being having the luxury and hospitality that the camp offers. Attention to detail is balanced with an a simplicity that is in harmony with its tranquil and exclusive location.

Dunia Activities the next 2 days
In the next days, there are a couple of options. One is to leave camp early and head out with a picnic breakfast, returning to camp for lunch. Alternatively, you can have breakfast in camp and head out with a picnic lunch, returning in the mid afternoon. Despite sharing vehicles, the camp will do everything it can with your game viewing.
On safari in the Serengeti
After breakfast you return to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. This will either be direct or via Arusha, depending on the season. On arrival in Zanzibar, you are met and transferred to your hotel on the Eastern Coast of the island. The next few days are at leisure.
