Day 1: Johannesburg

Welcome to South Africa!

On arrival at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport, you will be met by a representative from Airport Game Lodge for the road transfer to your first overnight stop on your itinerary.

Situated only a few minutes away from the bustling Airport, Airport Game Lodge combines the solitude of the African bush with the luxury and convenience of modern day living. The lodge is an ideal overnight stop over when arriving or connecting from an international flight. A complimentary shuttle service to and from the Airport is available. There are twenty-seven rooms, in three different

classes, that offer spacious en suite accommodation. Singles, couples, triples, and families can comfortably be accommodated. The lodge has a large garden and swimming pool for relaxation.

Day 2: Southern Kruger

After collecting your car, you will make your way to the world-renowned Kruger National Park.

The Kruger National Park offers a unique destination where nearly 2 million hectares of unrivaled diversity of life forms fuses with historical and archaeological sights – this is real Africa. The park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa.

Skukuza Camp is the largest camp and administrative headquarters of the Kruger National Park. Activities and attractions are diverse, as are the animals found within Skukuza Rest Camp and the surrounding area. Skukuza Camp is an excellent rest camp from which to pursue the Big Five and birds in the vicinity. Lions are frequently spotted along this route. The camp is situated on the southern banks of the Sabie River. At night, look for the Fruit Bat that hangs under the eaves of the shop, and the Thick-tailed Bush Baby climbing the trees in search of gum.

Day 3: Southern Kruger

Day 4: Central Kruger

Continue your explorations of the Kruger Park in a northerly direction as you make your way to Satara Rest Camp where you will overnight.

Satara Camp is the Kruger National Park's third biggest rest camp and is situated in an excellent game viewing area, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse. The camp itself has a rustic charm, with the bulk of the accommodation set out in a series of circles. Satara is well wooded and the bird-life is prolific. Keep an eye out for lion, giraffe, blue wildebeest and honey badgers in this area.

Day 5: Missing Point

Today you will cross through the Giriyondo border post into Mozambique, making your way to Machampane Wilderness Camp.

Machampane Wilderness Camp is an unfenced, intimate bush camp in the 1,1 million hectare Mozambique sector of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, adjacent to Kruger National Park. Nestled on the side of a secluded river bank of the Machampane River, the camp offers five tents – each located on its own wooden platform – with views over the river. The primary activity at Machampane Wilderness Camp is guided wilderness walks which allows guests the opportunity to explore the pristine wilderness area on foot.

Day 6: Missing Point

Day 7: Chidenguele

Bid your hosts farewell as you continue your journey onwards towards the Mozambique coastline.

Surrounded by indigenous bush on the banks of the Nhambavale Lake, Naara Eco Lodge & Spa is a luxury tented camp in a tranquil setting. The expansive lake forms a picturesque backdrop to the Lodge. It’s also the source of entertainment for guests with swimming, fresh water fishing, kayaking

Day 8: Tofo

Head up further along the coast towards the bustling little coastal village of Tofo, known for incredible number of mantas and whale sharks that frequent the waters in that area.

Day 9: Tofo

Today your journey turns back to the south as you drive towards the small town of Inharimme for your stay at Dunes de Dovela.

Nestled amongst the dune forests on the second crest of dunes overlooking the Indian Ocean, Dunes de Dovela is a serene Eco Lodge in the Zavora area. Enjoy the sea, dunes and coastal virgin forest vies from the restaurant, bar and accommodations. The Lodge was built with the close cooperation and

involvement of the local Chope community. Staying at Dunes de Dovela Eco Lodge allows guests the opportunity to explore the pristine dune forest and learn more of the local area and people in the village of Dovela. The lodge’s location near Inhambane makes it an ideal stop over when traveling between Maputo and Vilanculos, but its warm service and serenity makes it perfect for stays of two nights or more.

Day 11: Maputo

Prepare for the hustle and bustle of the city of Maputo as you make a one night stop over in the eclectic capitol of Mozambique.

Moringa Guest House is situated in Maputo city centre, near all the major city centre attractions, such as the Railway Station pictured below. This guest house offers sophisticated and comfortable accommodation. Each suite is fitted with air-conditioning, satellite TV, a work desk, wireless Internet connection and comfortable beds. Day 12: Ponta Mamoli

Today you will make your way to the south point of Mozambique; Ponta Malongane for your stay at Tartaruga Maritima Luxury Tented Camp.

Tartaruga Maritima Luxury Camp is situated in the extreme south of the pristine Mozambique coastline, alongside Ponta Malongane, just 16 km from the South African border. The private and exclusive self-catering luxury Tented Camps offer comfort, privacy and tranquillity to the discerning nature lover and adventurer. Tartaruga is perfectly designed to blend into the surrounding coastal forest. The tents are set on raised wooden platforms with veranda decks furnished with chairs and tables, offering an excellent hideout for birding or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the camp. The Camp offers a communal kitchen and braai area where guests can prepare their own meals. The team will set up the dining area for breakfast and dinner with cutlery and crockery for the guests to use. If

you don’t feel like cooking your own meal, there are several good restaurants in Ponta Malongane and Ponta do Ouro that are well worth trying. The nearest is “Come and See” which is situated within walking distance and offers prawns, calamari, Portuguese styled chicken and other local dishes.

Bid Mozambique farewell as you make your way to the small, landlocked kingdom of Swaziland.

Places worth visiting include Swazi Candles, Ngwenya Glass, Mantanga Cultaral Villas and Malandelas Complex and Restaurant. The hotel itself is situated on 90 ha of beautiful Swaziland highlands in the heart of the Kingdom. Swaziland's countryside is beautiful and extremely varied - it ranges from magnificent mountains and waterfalls in the west to the lush valleys of the middleveld and the low-lying bushveld of the east. Swaziland is ideal for nature enthusiasts because the landscape is so varied within a small, explorable area, with a huge variety of birds and flora.

Day 16: End of Itinerary

Sadly your trip has come to an end. Head back towards the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport where you will return your rental car before checking in for your flight back home. End of trip.
