Day 1: Kalahari Namibia

Your guide will meet with you at the Airport. Depart via Rehoboth, the city of the colored People, where we will stop for a short visit at the Museum, which will give us insight of their history and their tradition. Through to the Kalahari Desert with its ever changing Fauna and Flora and the fascinating red Sand dunes we will arrive in the afternoon at the Lodge.

Day 2: Fish River Canyon

Via Mariental we travel to Keetmanshoop to visit the Quiver tree forest, a gathering of trees which are part of the Aloe Species. The Giants Playground is a remarkable sight of volcanic rocks. Arrival in the afternoon at a Lodge, close to the Fish River Canon Park.

Day 3: Fish River Canyon

After an early breakfast we will take a short drive and visit the Fish River Canyon. Looking at the trickle the Fish River Canyon is today, it is difficult to imagine the raging mass of water that sculpted this magnificent canyon millions of years ago, making it one of the largest canyons in the world. A road along the eastern edge leads to various viewing points. The afternoon is at leisure.

Day 4: Aus

A leisurelydrive will take us to Aus. We will visit the former concentrations camp of the German Schutztruppe, where some traces of historical ‘”left-over’s” can still be seen, like Clay bricks of former huts and rust-like objects.

Day 5: Aus

From Aus through the plains of the southern Namib Desert our road leads us to Lüderitz. On the way we might be lucky and spot the wild horses. The mysterious ghost town of Kolmanskop which was built in the Diamond rush era will be our first sight seeing stop of the day. After the guided Tour and a visit to the historical Town of Lüderitz , we will have time to explore the town Lüderitz after which we will return to Aus. Dinner and overnight in the Aus region

Day 6: Sossusvlei

Depart via Helmeringhausen into the direction of the Sosussvlei. En route visit the Duwisib Castle which was built in 1908 by Baron von Wolf . Via the Zaris Height. Enroute the breathtaking social weaver nests in the acacia trees are a spectacular sight along this route. Arrival late afternoon at a Lodge in the Sossusvlei area.

Day 7: Sossusvlei

Before sunrise we will depart to the Sossusvlei. Drivingup to the Parking area of Sossusvlei we will encounter magnificent shapes and colours of dunes and vegetation. With a 4x4 shuttle service you will be able to explore the heart of the dunes of which some reach up to 300 meters. A walk by foot is part of the dune experience. The word ‘Sossus’ means “Water gathering place” or ‘Place of Water”. Afternoon return to the lodge with a short visit at the Sesriem Canyon, which is a deep gorge formed by the waters of the Tsauchab River.

Day 8: Swakopmund

Drive via the Namib Naukluft Nature Park to Solitaire, the ‘one-horse-town’ with its small shop, well known for its famous “Apfelstrudel”. Through the Gaub Pass and Kuiseb Canyon we will experience a different Namib Desert. In the Namib Naukluft Park we will visit the unique Welwitschia plants in the Welwitschia plains and drive through the scenic Valley of the Moon.

Day 9: Swakopmund

You have the choice to enjoy the day in Swakopmund at your own leisure time or

Day 10: Damaraland

Today our long Trip will take us along the coast, passing Wlotskas Baken, and Henties Bay into theDamaraland. Compared to Wlotskas Baken, Henties Bay has developed into a small holiday resort, whereas Woltskas Baken is still classified as a official camping place. The landscape of Damaraland and the areas adjoining is varied from massive mountain ranges to mopani parkland and savannah grassland. The large fascinating Euphorbias are dominant in this area. Many fascinating geological formations and rock paintings at Twyfelfontein will be the highlights of today. We visit the Burnt Mountain, with its unusual rock colours which give the impression the mountain has been burnt. Unusual rock slabs known as Organ pipes as well as the Petrified Forest, where 30 m long trees were washed along some million year ago.

Day 11: Etosha South

After a leisurely breakfast we will continue our drive viaFransfontein to Otjikondo. Here somewhat 240 children between 6 – 14 Years attend school here. Children from all cultures find their temporary home and education at this privately established project founded in 1991 by Reiner and Gillian Stommel. Due to fund raisings and sponsorships, it is possible to maintain and offer the right education to children of this country.(closed during school holidays, public holidays) Afterward we will continue towards the Etosha National Park. The tour today ends at Lodge just outside the Etosha National Park.

Day 12: Etosha East

Early departure to the Etosha National Park. Upon our arrival our game drive will begin. We will travel fromwaterhole to waterhole in search of various animals, bird etc. The focal point of the Etosha National Park is the huge shallow depression known as the Etosha Pan. Just before sunset we will leave the park.

Day 13: Etosha East

Morning and Afternoon Game drive in the park. Etosha is considered to be one of the most important game parks in Southern Africa. Ranging from dense bush to vast plains, it supports a spectacular number of animals.

Day 14: Windhoek

The first stop-over is at the Tsumeb Museum. The Museum also displays a complete collection of minerals found in this area. Drive back to Windhoek, via Okahandja with a short shopping stop at the woodcarvers market. The tour ends in Windhoek . A Farwell Dinner is planned for this evening.

Day 15: End of Itinerary

At leisure in Windhoek followed by a transfer to the International Airport on time for your departure flight.
