Visit Pisac Archaeological Site and Calca Market (from Sacred Valley)

High in the Sacred Valley, the archaeological site of Pisac stretches across well-preserved terraces that follow the natural shape of the mountain. Once an important ceremonial and agricultural centre, it holds the only known Inca sun dial outside of Machu Picchu, overlooking a valley still guided by its cycles.

Further down, Calca offers a closer look at everyday life. Its market is active and authentic, with stalls offering herbs, flowers and seasonal produce. Tradition here is lived rather than displayed, forming a natural part of the community’s daily rhythm.

Please allow approximately four hours for the entire experience.

Explore Machu Picchu

Above a lush canyon, the citadel of Machu Picchu rises among mist and stone — a presence both powerful and serene. As you ascend on foot and by scenic drive, the first glimpse of its terraces and walls feels almost whispered, as if the mountain reveals itself only to those who arrive with quiet intent. With your local guide, explore this sacred sanctuary shaped by vision, stone and time. Each pathway opens a window into another world — where precision and reverence echo through carved rock and silence. This is more than a place; it is a quiet encounter with something enduring.

  • Please allow approximately three hours for the guided route and four hours for the entire experience.

Conquering Machu Picchu Mountain

From the gates of Machu Picchu, a quiet ascent begins. In the company of your local guide, follow stone steps that rise steadily toward Machu Picchu Mountain, a trail that traces the upper flanks of the citadel and occasionally follows the original Inca route. At the summit, a wide panoramic view opens over the valley and the site below, allowing a deeper sense of place and scale. The way back unfolds at a slower pace, with time to take in the stillness and surrounding peaks.
