Arrive into Kigali Airport and after going through passport control and luggage collection, proceed to outside the terminal building, where you will be met and road transfer to Kigali Serena hotel for your  overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be collected by a driver and transfer to your lodge, the drive time is around 3 hours.

After an early breakfast, at 06:30am you will be transferred to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters in time to register for your Gorilla Trekking activity. Here they will determine which group of gorillas you will visit.

After briefing, you will be transferred up the mountain to the starting point of your trek. 

Porters may be hired for the trek to carry your backpack and gear at a cost of $20 per person per day

We suggest you wear / bring along the following:

Long trousers tucked into long socks, Short-sleeved t-shirt with long-sleeved shirt over it (it can be chilly in the mornings when you set off) Sturdy walking shoes (hiking boots are not strictly necessary – a pair of running shoes with good grip will work too) and Leather gloves (there are stinging nettles in the park), to protect your hands when gripping the vegetation

Plenty of drinking water and A day pack to carry everything in
Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen, Camera ( no flash), Basic first aid kit / med plaster
Some cash if you want to hire a porter / tip your guides, 
Your passports which are needed for registration

Trekking can take from two to six or more hours, you then have 1 hour to spend with the gorillas as you watch them groom each other, play and laze about the forest.

*Guests are required to wear masks at all times whilst on trek

The guides stop frequently to allow trekkers a chance to rest and take photos along the way.

After your trek you will be transferred back to the lodge for your lunch and much needed relaxation.

Today you will enjoy the Golden Monkey trek in the Volcanoes National Park.

Entering dense stands of bamboo interspersed with open glades, you will make your way deep into golden monkey territory. Guides lead visitors to the habitat of groups of ‘habituated’ golden monkeys – monkeys that have become accustomed to human presence.

Though viewing is kept to a maximum of one hour, you can get an up-close look at the golden monkey in its natural habitat. Adult monkeys frolic in plain view, feeding on bamboo leaves and leaping from perch to perch. Females carry their young, completely comfortable among onlookers.

A packed lunch will be provided to enjoy en route. Return to the lodge in the afternoon

Enjoy and early breakfast and at a time advised by the lodge,  you will be road transferred to Kigali International Airport, in time for your schedule charter flight to Tanzania, where you will be met and transfer to andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas

This morning at a time advised by the lodge you will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your flight to Manyara.

On arrival at Manyara Airstrip, you will be met by a representative from the camp and road transferred to andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Enjoy your game viewing in the Crater.

Guests enjoy breakfast at the lodge and the game drive departs between 08:00am and 08:30am with a packed picnic lunch. The drive returns to the lodge at  16:30pm

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, at a time advised by lodge management you will be transferred to the Lake Manyara airstrip, for  your shared light aircraft flight to Kilimanjaro Airport where you will check in for your flight homeward.
