Tea Factory Visit:
Have you ever wondered why Sri Lankan tea tastes so good? So, this is the day for you to discover the truth about the Sri Lankan tea. To discover this, you will visit a tea estate with a guide who will explain you the process of making tea. On the way to the factory, you can see the Tamil women who will be working among the green tea leaves plucking them. Inside the factory you can see the process of weighing, drying, fermenting, and packing. At last, you will be able to taste the tea from that factory and enjoy the moment.
Train journey - Nanu Oya to Ella:
Continue to Ella by train. You will get onto a train and head towards the Tea Mountains situated in Ella while watching the sublimely verdant surrounding. Train Number:1005
Little Adam's Peak:
Little Adam's Peak is a brisk 2 hour walk through tea plantations before you climb the summit via large steps. Once at the top, put your feet up and enjoy the amazing views.
Ravana falls:
The Ravana Falls popularly known as Ravana Ella is a popular sightseeing attraction in Sri Lanka. It currently ranks as one of the widest falls in the country. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. During the local wet season, the waterfall turns into what is said to resemble an areca flower with withering petals. But this is not the case in the dry season, where the flow of water reduces dramatically. The falls form part of the Ravana Ella Wildlife Sanctuary, and is located 6 km (3.7 mi) away from the local railway station at Ella.
Nine Arch bridge:
The Nine Arches Bridge (also called The Bridge in the sky) is one of the most iconic bridges in Sri Lanka and is one of the best examples of British railway constructions when Ceylon was yet a colony of the British Empire. It is located in Demodara, between Ella and Demodara railway stations. As of the past decade the surrounding area has seen a steady increase of tourism due to the bridge's architectural ingenuity and the profuse greenery in the nearby hillsides.
Ella to Udawalawe:
Continue to Udawalawe. The drive will take minimum 2 1/2 hours also this depends on the road traffic.
Udawalawe elephant transit home:
The Udawalawe Elephant Transfer Home is a facility within Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka that was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation.Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.
Udawalawe to Yala:
Continue to Yala. The drive will take a maximum of 2 hours also this depends on the road traffic.
4X4 Jeep Safari Excursion
Yala National Park:
Continue to Yala for the evening safari (If you are late for the evening safari you can still do this on next day early morning). You will visit the Yala National Park, where you can see an enormous number of wild animals. Here you can see the elephant preservation, leopards abound, and hundreds of bird species. Moreover, you will be able to explore the traces of the ancient civilization in that area. This takes an important place in the Sri Lankan history.
4X4 Jeep Safari Excursion
Yala National Park:
Usually leopards, lurk around at night to protect themselves from their predators. However, in Yala you will be able to see the leopards ruling the roost. Also, you can see that people trying to click photos of those strolling leopards from their jeeps. They have the highest population in this part of the world. Furthermore, you can see the herds of elephants bathing in many watering holes.This is the greatest chance to take photos of the nature and wild animals with a clear near shot.

Exploring Bawa's Lunuganga Gardens:
Lunuganga Estate was the country home of the renowned Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa. Started in 1947, the garden led Bawa, a lawyer called to the Bar at the Inner Temple in 1940, to decide to become an architect. As he went on to become Sri Lanka's and one of Asia's most prolific and influential architects, the garden at the Lunuganga estate remained his first muse and experimental laboratory for new ideas. He continued to change and experiment with its spaces and structures throughout his life until his final illness in 1998. Left to the Lunuganga Trust on his demise in 2003, the gardens are now open to the public and the buildings on the estate are run as a country house hotel.
Brief Garden by Bevis Bawa:
Ten kilometers inland from Bentota is the Brief Garden. A barely controlled riot of a garden out of The Jungle Book, the grounds are a lovely place to get lost. The house, which used to be the home of Bevis Bawa, brother of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, has an eclectic range of artwork on display – from homoerotic sculpture to a wonderful mural of Sri Lankan life in the style of Marc Chagall.

Late in the evening (Optional) enjoy the dinner at one of the best restaurants "Ministry of Crab" runs by former cricketer Mahela Jayawardena and Kumar Sangakkara. Reservations required otherwise they may run out of crabs as the crabs are only for reserved tables. Colombo to Bandaranaike International Airport:
It's time to say goodbye. Look back on a wonderful time in Sri Lanka and many impressions that the country has given you. You will be collected at your accommodation and transferred to the airport. The drive to Bandaranaike International Airport will take 45 minutes.
Fast track airport assistance - Departure:
- Receiving the guest by Airport staff at the entrance to the 'Silk Route' Lounge.
- Baggage will be collected and screened by the Airport staff and the Guest will be escorted to the 'Silk Route' Lounge.
- Check-in procedures will be attended to by the Airport staff while the Guest relaxes in the 'Silk Route' Lounge.
- After completion of formalities, the guest will be escorted to the Transit/Boarding Area through a dedicated passage. Airport staff will be with the guest right through his journey across the Departure Terminal.
