Four-wheel Adventure in Maras & Moray

Trace the quiet contours of the valley on your own terms. Begin with a short drive to the village of Cruzpata, where a safety briefing prepares you for the ride ahead. Then, take to the back roads by quad bike—choosing your own pace—as you traverse the lesser-seen side of this storied landscape.

The route to Moray via Mahuaypampa offers far more than just scenery. Along the way, glimpse daily life unfolding in remote Andean hamlets: farmers working the land in traditional attire, children waving from doorways, fields brushed by wind and light. Dust may rise, clothes may gather earth, but that’s part of the adventure.

Upon reaching Moray, step into a place that still keeps its secrets. These concentric terraces, carved deep into the ground, resemble crop circles, yet were likely an ingenious Inca laboratory—designed to test microclimates for agricultural innovation.

After time to explore, settle into a quiet spot nearby for a thoughtfully prepared picnic lunch. Framed by highland views, the meal feels all the more memorable—simple, seasonal, and well earned.

Ride back to Cruzpata, then continue by car to the salt pans of Maras. Here, the centuries-old practice of hand-harvesting salt continues, and the textured white pools glint like natural mosaics across the hillside. If you wish, take a pouch home—direct from the source—as a meaningful souvenir and quiet nod to the people who keep this craft alive.

Please allow approximately three and a half hours on the quad bike, with a total experience time of six hours.

Flight Over the Nazca Lines

The Nazca Lines—known in the scientific world as geoglyphs—are among the most remarkable legacies left by ancient pre-Inca cultures in Peru. Etched into the arid plains of the Palpa and Nazca Valleys, just five hours south of Lima and near the Pacific coast, these enormous figures can only be fully appreciated from the air.

To experience this extraordinary site, you’ll be transferred to the Pisco aerodrome (approximately 15 minutes from Paracas), where you’ll board a light aircraft for a scenic overflight. From above, spot some of the most iconic figures, including the Monkey, the Hummingbird, the Spider and the Star—along with more recent discoveries that continue to intrigue researchers and travellers alike.

Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for the flight only. Note: The exact flight time is subject to weather conditions and passenger coordination, and can only be confirmed the day before.
