Today you will departure for a Coffee tour. the tour begins with an easy scenic walk through the coffee plantations stopping at viewpoints along the way. Here you can learn about Brazilian coffee´s history and its production chain from the harvesting of beans to its arrival ready to drink in our coffee cups. After the presentation, you can enjoy a tasting of a variety of coffees and visit the Coffee Museum were different pieces of historical artefacts are kept. You will taste a traditional Minero lunch (included). after this amazing morning, you will continue to Parque das Aguas (waterpark), which concentrates 9 mineral water sources including Fuente Oriente where the crystalline and natural mineral water, bottled and marketed since 1890 for all of Brazil, originates. The Park brings together various natural attractions such as a Classical-style Spa that offers therapeutic baths and massages. Return to the Hotel late afternoon.Night at Leisure.

On this day, you will departure to the Parque das Aguas de Caxambu tour. In 1814 the first mineral water sources were discovered here. In 1868, Count D´EU and Princess Isabel (Emperor Don Pedro II´s youngest daughter) arrived in Caxambu in search of the therapeutic properties of the water, looking for a cure to the couple’s apparent infertility. After visiting the park, you can enjoy a lunch with all this peace and nature. Return to São Lourenço city. During the afternoon, visit a typical Minero coffee shop that offers a menu of delicious Mina Gerais treats, and learn about different methods of preparing coffee. Return to hotel late afternoon.

Are you ready to departure to Vossouras city located 2 hours from Rio de Janeiro?Here you are going to visit a typical Coffee Fazenda (farm) from the times of Imperial Brazil. It is a full day tour including lunch and an afternoon coffee with typical dishes from the interior of the state of Rio. Return to Rio de Janeiro late afternoon. Night at leisure.
Fazenda de Café São Luis da Boa Sorte
The visit consists of a walk through the fazenda to see the coffee plantations, its processing and storage. The visit continues through the manor house were the Coffee Barons and their families lived in the midst of a sophistication that had nothing to envy from the European monarchical houses. The visit ends at a “senzala”, a place where enslaved Africans lived, ate, were their children were born, were they celebrated their holidays. The local guide will explain what it was like for the hundreds of slaves to keep the lucrative business of the coffee plantations running.
