Pantanal Big Five Tour

Arrival at Cuiabá Airport (CGB) and transfer directly to Araras Lodge. Slow drive through Transpantaneira Road enjoying the panorama and wildlife sights/encounters.

Arrival check-in followed by a walking tour in the surroundings.

Return for dinner and overnight.

Araras Lodge offers comfortable suite rooms and excellent regional food featuring organic salads, vegetables, meat and seasonal fruits.

Full days of tours/safaris searching for endemic birds, tapirs, anteaters and many other wildlife species.

Tours available: canoeing, horseback riding, Jeep safari during the day & at night, walking trails.

After breakfast slowly drive  in a private car through the Transpantaneira Road.

Arrival for lunch at Hotel Porto Jofre. Afternoon to rest and watch birds around the lodge.

Dinner and overnight.

Full days on boat trips, divided into morning and afternoon periods, always on a private basis. The group will be looking mainly for jaguars on the banks of the river and giant otters, but will also have great chances to observe many other species of wildlife in the Pantanal.

Morning exploring by boat. Return for check-out and lunch. Departure at 1:30 pm on a panoramic flight over the Pantanal towards the Caiman Ecological Refuge (1:45h).

Arrival for check-in, rest and tour at the end of the day and early evening for first impressions of the nature of the place.

Full days on tours through the different areas of the Caiman Ecological Refuge.

Tours are divided into morning, afternoon and evening explorations, always looking for wildlife observation.
