When you arrive at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be met and then transferred to Onsea House where we will spend the first night, its all very comfortable and a great place to relax and settle into your new environment before the safari starts the following morning.
We drive today across Arusha where there is a colourful mix of traditional and new style African lifestyles. Then we cross the wide open expanses of Northern Tanzania on a good paved road all the way through to Ngorongoro Crater. We will have a game drive into the crater to start our safari in this amazing spectacle of nature. We will spend our night at the Sanctuary Camp on the crater rim.
The next day we will be walking on the Western Rim of the Crater to explore this amazing area and will then spend the night in a lightweight tented camp set up for us for the night, dinner and drinks under the stars with a small campfire.
Our journey today will start with a walk further around the rim of the crater and then we will meet our vehicle for the game drive transfer that will take us to our tented camp at Banagi in the central Serengeti.
We will have another game drive transfer this morning through to the Northern Wilderness Zone of the Serengeti to our next camp, we will get here for lunch and have time after settling for a short walk in the area to get a feel for the new environment.
Today we will have the full day available to us to explore this very busy wildlife area on foot, each day and walk will be as flexible as possible to ensure we take advantage of what is happening in the area.
We will have another night out today in a light weight camp which will be set up for us in a new area which we will walk to - another really genuine safari experience.
Today we will have a game drive transfer across to Olakira which is a luxury tented camp that will seem like moving into a 5star hotel after your nights in our small private tented camps.
A full day to enjoy game driving and see the migration for a different perspective and all that accompanies this amazing spectacle.
We will drive to the airstrip at Kogatende where we will catch a flight that will get us back to Kilimanjaro airport and will be timed to suit your onward flight connections.
