Ngorongoro Crater Camp comprises ten luxury safari room tents – each with its own ensuite bathroom with shower. The room tents also feature hairdryers, plug points and a small sitting area in front of each of the tents. The three large and comfortable communal tents provide a dining area where scrumptious meals are served, a lounge area perfect for afternoon relaxation, and lounge bar where pre-dinner drinks are served. All of the main areas include breathtaking views of the spectacular surrounding scenery and large trees surrounding this intimate camp. For a more intimate experience you can choose to dine on individual tables set in special spots around the camp.

Banagi camp is set up on the edge of a small tributary of the Grumeti River, under large acacia tortilis trees. This stream has pools of water most of the year, making the camp very active with wildlife all year round. It is common to be sitting in the camp and see herds of zebra and wildebeest passing by.
This small comfortable camp offers you a non-stop safari experience. It has very stylish bell tents and proper African "glamping" in every sense of the word. The tents are 4m across with double beds, 100% linen bedding, chairs, luggage racks and attached a large bathroom with a hot water shower. The camp has 5 tents, so generally 10 guests, but we can accommodate triples.
All meals are prepared by a chef in a camp kitchen. The camp has shared dining, however we are more than happy to set up private dining on request.
All our Green Camps operate in the most environmentally sustainable manner. We use low impact energy creation wherever we can, minimize waste in the camp by preparing part of the meals in Arusha. We strive to be 100% plastic free, use solar powered light, recycle and loads more.

Tented Camp
Little Green Camp’s smaller size allows it to achieve an in-depth, wild experience of the Serengeti. This adventurous camp is able to move more frequently; more closely following the movements of the herds as they circle through the Serengeti eco-system. Its locations are deeper into the remote parts of the eco-system and away from the crowds.
Wayo Little Green Camp’s lightweight tents are perfect for couples or families with older children. They are known as star tents; bespoke made with gauze sides and roof to enable guests to feel as though they are wild camping in the African plains without compromising on safety. Sides can be covered in the event of heavy rains and curtains provide privacy if required.
Despite being small and more adventurous, these tents still benefit from an attached private bathroom with a bucket shower and a compost toilet.
Our walks from this camp can be either full day walks or half days and guests loop back to camp. Our regions benefit from interesting rocky kopjes, drainage lines and acacia woodlands allowing you to discover areas outside of a vehicle. All walks are carried out by a trained Wayo Africa walking guide and a Serengeti Park Ranger.
