Day 1: Nairobi

Welcome to Africa!

Arrive in Nairobi, the cosmopolitan capital of Kenya and gateway to your Kenyan adventure. After clearing immigration and customs, you'll be met by your private driver and transferred to the Tamarind Tree Hotel.

Relax and unwind after your journey, or explore the vibrant city at your leisure. Perhaps visit the National Museum to delve into Kenya's rich history and culture or stop by the Karen Blixen Museum, offering a glimpse into the life of the acclaimed author of "Out of Africa".

Day 2: Laikipia

Depart Nairobi and embark on a scenic drive north towards the stunning Laikipia region. Traversing the countryside, witness rural Kenyan life unfold as you pass by traditional villages and patchwork farms.

Upon arrival at Olepangi Farm Guesthouse, settle into your cosy accommodations surrounded by the picturesque Lolldaiga Hills. This family-run property offers a warm welcome and an authentic taste of Kenya's rural charm.

Spend the afternoon exploring the farm or simply relax and soak in the tranquil ambiance.

Day 3: Laikipia

Day 4: Laikipia

Day 5: Nairobi National Park

Bid farewell to the tranquil Laikipia region and return to Nairobi, this time by light aircraft. Your journey takes an exciting turn as you enter the world-renowned Nairobi National Park, the only national park on Earth to border a capital city.

Check into the Nairobi Tented Camp, your luxurious tented accommodations nestled within the park's lush riverine forests.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, scouring the open grass plains for resident wildlife such as lions, rhinos, gazelles, and the occasional elusive leopard.

Day 6: Nairobi National Park

Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive in Nairobi National Park. Your experienced guide will help you spot and identify the diverse array of animals that call this urban oasis home.

After a delicious breakfast back at camp, visit the renowned Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you can learn about their vital conservation efforts and even witness the adorable baby elephants being fed.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your tented camp or exploring the park's hiking trails and scenic picnic sites.

Day 7: Mara Ripoi Conservancy

Today, your safari adventure continues as you fly to the exclusive Mara Ripoi Conservancy, a private wildlife haven bordering the legendary Maasai Mara Reserve.

After settling into your tent at the intimate Porini Giraffe Camp, set out on an afternoon game drive through the conservancy's rolling hills, acacia forests, and open plains. With no fences and few other visitors, you'll have a front-row seat to witness the incredible wildlife that roams freely, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and the graceful Maasai giraffes that give the camp its name.

Day 8: Mara Ripoi Conservancy

Wake up to the sights and sounds of the African bush at Porini Giraffe Camp. After a hot cup of coffee or tea, embark on an early morning game drive to catch the animals at their most active.

Your skilled Maasai guide will share their extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna as you search for elusive species like leopards and hyenas.

Return to camp for a hearty breakfast before venturing out again on a guided nature walk, getting up close and personal with the smaller details of the wilderness. 

Day 9: Mara Ripoi Conservancy

Spend your final day in the Mara Ripoi Conservancy exploring this extraordinary wildlife haven at your own pace.

Day 10: Che Shale Beach

Trade the wilderness of the Mara Ripoi for the tropical splendor of the Kenyan coast as you fly to Malindi.

Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred to the secluded Che Shale Hotel, a charming boutique property nestled along an idyllic stretch of palm-fringed beach just north of town.

Check into one of the castaway chic-style bandas and spend the rest of the day unwinding on the hotel's deserted white sand shores, dipping your toes into the azure Indian Ocean.

Or head inland to the Gede Ruins, the remains of a historic Swahili city overtaken by forest. Back at Che Shale, sign up for a sunset dhow sailing cruise for unparalleled views of the coast at dusk.

Day 13: Che Shale Beach
