Day 1: Cape Town

Arrive in Cape Town,  3 nights

From Cape Town Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel in Cape Town. The rest of the day is at leisure

Day 2: Cape Town

City Tour

You depart for a private city orientation tour. The tour begins with a trip up Table Mountain by cable car for a panoramic view of the whole of the Cape Peninsula. There is time for a short walk at the summit to admire the incredible scenery. 

Note: This is our suggestion tour but we can tailor-make this to include Robben Island. Or to convert this into a full day tour to enjoy some walking on Table Mountain or add in a Sail boat around the island.

Day 3: Cape Town

Private Cape Peninsula Tour

This morning you are collected from your  hotel for your full day Cape Peninsula tour. Our Cape Peninsula tour is an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. The tour takes in magnificent beaches, views and picturesque villages on the way with a scenic coastal drive along Chapmans Peak; the Cape Point National Park; viewing the Penguins at Boulders Bay; Simonstown historical naval base and the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Adaptions:  We could add in an hour of sea kayaking. Or a bicycle ride in the Cape Point National Park. Discuss your interests with us.

Day 4: Cape Town

Morning Township Tour (choice) & afternoon  at leisure

Today you are collected for a half day tour either to the Uthando Projects or to enjoy a tour to the townships either by car or even by bicycle if you are interested.

Note: You can also substitute this tour for a tour to Robben Island or a private walking tour following in Mandela's Footsteps.

Day 5: Stellenbosch

This morning we head to the Cape Winelands. Here the stunning backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the tree-lined streets and the white gabled Cape Dutch homesteads all blend in tranquil harmony. Enjoy some wine-tasting at two different wine estates and a  cellars tour (or third wine tasting) and visits to the historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

You are dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon. 

Day 6: Stellenbosch

Enjoy a morning foodie and history tour of Stellenbosch finishing with lunch. You enjoy some traditional South African food and drinks as your guide leads you through the historic heart of this vibrant town. Stellenbosch is the second oldest town in South Africa. It charms visitors with its romantic oak-lined streets, architecural diversity, outdoor art exhibitions with sculptures gracing the street corners and, of course, its food and wine heritage.

The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore Stellenbosch. You can even hire a bike for a cycle into the Jonkershoek valley.

Alternatively, for a small supplement, you can add on an afternoon of wine-tasting on the Wine hopper service. 

Days 7 - 9: Klaserie Private Game Reserve

Transfer to the Airport to fly to Kruger for 3 nights on safari

This morning you are transferred to the airport for your flight to the Kruger. The flight is not included at this stage in the tour price as it is subject to change.

On arrival at the airport, you are met and transferred to your safari camp for your 3 night safari, either in the Timbavati Game Reserve or the Klaserier Private Game Reserve. 

Day 10: Johannesburg

Fly to Johannesburg for 2 nights

After your morning game drive, you are transferred back to the Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (not included). On arrival in Johannesburg, you are met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 11: Johannesburg

Choice of full day private cultural tours

Today you have a choice of tours. Most people opt for a full day tour of Soweto, the Apartheid Museum and the city highlights.

But you can also opt to visit the Cradle of Humankind instead (perhaps combining it with the Apartheid Museum OR Soweto).

Day 12: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Fly to Victoria Falls for 3 nights,

Today you are transferred back to the airport for your flight to Victoria Falls (not included). On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel for your 2 night stay.

Day 13: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Day at leisure & Late afternoon sunset cruise

The day is at leisure. We recommend a visit to the Victoria Falls which is a very short walking distance from your hotel.

For lunch we head to the Dusty Township Restaurant. 

Note: there are a number of excellent excursions that we can book for you such as the Victoria Falls treetop canopy tour OR a helicopter trip over the Falls?

In the late afternoon you are  driven to the jetty on the Zambezi River for a sunset boat cruise. The boat meanders slowly upstream looking for game on the way.

Day 14: End of Itinerary

Transfer back to Victoria Falls Aiport

Some time at leisure to enjoy some activities. Later in the morning you are transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (not included).
