Upon arrival at Bangkok airport you will be welcomed to Thailand by your guide, and transferred to your hotel in a private chauffeur driven car.

This afternoon is free to relax at your hotel to recover from your long flight, or explore the surrounding area independently.

Day 3: Bangkok

Head into the heart of Bangkok with a private guide as you explore the temples and royal buildings scattered around the Grand Palace. Learn about the extravagant construction of Buddhist places of worship, and get an insiders look around the city's bustling centre.

Get picked up from your hotel in a private vehicle and spend the first part of your tour listening to your guide share insight about Bangkok's most notable landmarks. After a short drive, park outside the grounds of the Grand Palace and head inside to visit your first temple of the day.

See the carved, emerald statue of the Buddha in a traditional pose in the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, admire the gilded interior that surrounds the statue on all sides, and then continue on to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha to see Thailand's largest collection of Buddha images. If you're lucky, you may even get to peek inside the Coronation Hall or Royal Funeral Hall before you wrap up your private excursion with convenient drop-off back at your hotel.

Take to the streets of Chinatown to discover some of the best food Bangkok has to offer with the help of a local guide. Explore the area's major attractions, including Wat Trimitr where you can see the Golden Buddha, sample an assortment of delectable Thai dishes, and ride through town in a tuk tuk.

Meet your guide at MRT Hua Lam Phong and head to the vibrant Chinatown district to tour around some of the most popular landmarks. Admire the architecture and intricacy of the Chinatown Gate, Guan Yin Shrine, and Wat Trimitr, also known as the Golden Buddha Temple.

Next, you meander to Yaowarat Road for a delicious dinner. You are delighted by the fragrant aromas and exotic dishes as you pass the various street vendors. Your expert guide selects the best dishes to sample, such as pad Thai, fish maw soup, or rice noodles with roasted pork. You choose coffee or tea, possibly a traditional Thai iced tea, to accompany your meal, and then finish off the feast with a tasty dessert.

After dinner, hop in a tuk tuk for an unforgettable experience riding in the well-known vehicle. End your evening sipping on your favourite drink at a rooftop bar overlooking the Chao Phraya River lit up by the city lights.

Day 5: Bangkok

Spend your final day in Bangkok at leisure exploring the many intoxicating sights & sounds  that make up this amazingly vibrant city.  Travel in a tuk tuk or take a boat trip up the Chao Praya River, the choice is yours.

Day 6: Khao Sok National Park

You will be transferred to Bangkok airport in time for your onward flight.

Depart from Phuket airport to the Phang Nga province, passing small rural villages, rubber and oil palm plantations - glimpses of tropical rural life here in southern Thailand can be caught.

1st Days Activities: The Amazing Elephant Experience.

  • Transfer from the airport or hotel to Elephant Hills Camp in Khao Sok. 
  • Elephant Hills Elephant Experience: Feeding, washing and interacting with Asia’s largest land animal. A really touching experience in an almost untouched environment.
  • Canoe Safari down the Sok River. Sit back and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Khao Sok.
  • Evening Activities: movie presentation, dance performances and cooking demonstration.

Day 7: Khao Sok National Park

2nd Day: Spectacular Cheow Larn Lake.

  • Visit a local market in Takhun to experience Thailand’s rural lifestyle.
  • Boat Trip. Sightseeing in a traditional longtail boat on Cheow Larn Lake.
  • Lunch and free time at the Rainforest Camp. Self paddle canoes are available to explore the spectacular surrounding. Return to Elephant Hills in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Racha Yai Island

3rd Days Activities: Fabulous Rainforest.

  • Jungle trekking by foot through Southern Thailand’s unique rainforest environment.
  • Return to Elephant Hills and onward transfer to your next hotel or the airport.

After lunch you will  have a shared transfer by road to Phuket where you will be collected by The Racha for your road and speedboat transfer to Koh Racha.

You will be transferred by boat from The Racha back to Chalong Pier on Phuket then a road transfer to the airport on time for your flight back to London via Doha.
