On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clear Tanzania immigration. Canadians require a visa, obtainable prior to travel through the Tanzania High Commission in Ottawa, or on arrival.
You will be met in the arrival hall by our local representative, for a road transfer to Mt Meru Game Lodge. The drive takes about 30 minutes.
Check in to the lodge and relax after the long flights.

After breakfast an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most iconic wildlife areas. The crater floor supports an incredible array of wildlife, and you should expect to see a variety of species including lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetah and possibly endangered rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon.

This morning you leave the highlands, and drive down into the Serengeti. The drive will take most of the day, with stops enroute for points of interest, such as Olduvai Gorge Museum. You have packed lunch today out on the plains. As you approach the Ndutu woodlands, you will start to see more wildlife.
Arrive at Kati Kati Tented Camp in the late afternoon, and in time for dinner.

You have the day in the Southern Serengeti. From January to April, the wildebeest migration should be located on these southern short grass plains, and giving birth. Its an incredible time, as predators chase the herds and prey on young animals.
Your days can be spent out on the plains with packed meals, or you do short sorties from the camp - what ever works for you.

You have a final morning on safari. After lunch, you depart to the Seronera airstrip. Bid farewell to your guide, and connect with a scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro departing at 4:45pm. The flight will includes stops enroute at Manyara and Arusha, and a change of plane may be required.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport at 6:30pm, and check into your onward flights.
