SG026-9 Day Livingstone, South Luangwa & Lower Zambezi

You will be met upon your arrival at the Livingstone airport and transferred to your hotel for the next 3 nights, the Royal Livingstone Hotel.

The Royal Livingstone is located on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, overlooking and with direct access to the Victoria Falls.  The hotel forms a perfect base from where you can explore the offerings of this area, visit the Victoria Falls and partake in some of the many activities available in the area.

You start your experience with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river on the Lady Livingstone.

Today you will be transferred to Chobe National Park in Botswana, after crossing the river on boat through the point where four countries meet, Botswana, Namibia, Zimabawe and Zambia.

Your driver will await your arrival from where you will spent the day exploring the wildlife on offer in the Chobe National Park. Returning back to your hotel in Livingstone, Zambia, in the late afternoon.

Please do make sure you have the required paperwork for crossing into Botswana and back into Zambia for the day.

This morning you will be taken on a guided tour of the falls, on the Zambian side, your private guide will meet you at reception from where you will walk to the entrance of the Falls on the Zambian side.

After returning you have some time to relax or partake in the many optional activities available.

In the late afternoon, you will venture out on a classic steam train safari, stopping on the bridge with breathtaking views of the Victoria Falls, before returning to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lusaka from where you will catch another flight o South Luangwa National Park, arriving at Mfuwe Airport, before being transferred to the Mfuwe Lodge for the next two nights.

Ease yourself into Luangwa life with a stay at the award-winning Mfuwe Lodge. Set inside the park, just five minutes drive from the main gate, the lodge's allure is instantly obvious. Beneath a canopy of ebony and mahogany, its eighteen air-conditioned chalets are arranged around the banks of two lagoons where an endless stream of wildlife will keep you enthralled as you lounge on the open deck or take a dip in the swimming pool. Today is spent enjoying the facilities and game drives on offer by the lodge.  Game drives and walks are conducted by an experienced and knowledgeable team of guides.  Guests set off at first light or in the late afternoon when the wildlife is most active.

At an additional cost you can also partake in guided walks, night drives, bush spa and a visit to a local village.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Mfuwe Airport for your flight to the Lower Zambezi National Park.

Upon your arrival you will be met by your transfer vehicle that will take you through to the Royal Zambezi Lodge for the next 3 nights.

After breakfast you will be transfered to the Royal airstrip for your charter flight to Lusaka, where your package comes to an end.
