Arrival Durban airport - Your driver will meet you as you exit the arrivals hall and will be bearing a board with your name / group name on.

Transfer to Umkomaas on the Natal South Coast (+1 hour drive).  Accommodation will be at the Shark and Shoal Boutique Guesthouse for 3 nights

Day 2: KwaZulu Natal South Coast

The small town of Umkomaas became a scuba diving hotspot and is recognised worldwide as one of the top ten scuba diving reefs worldwide, primarily because of its unique structure, reef life, abundance of sharks and sub-tropical waters. There is no other dive site like it, with over 1200 documented fish species, many types of soft corals, some varieties of hard corals also thrive in cooler waters on the reef along with a variety of sea sponges, invertebrates, nudibranchs, cephalopods and a host of diverse sea life.

Dive Times 8am and 12pm - Pick up time from lodge will be at 7am

You will return to the lodge around 10am for breakfast and will depart at 11am for your 2nd dive

Please remember to bring your dive card and log book with you. While diving is possible on most days of the year, it is dependent on the weather and sea conditions (including underwater visibility). Please alert our dive team to any factors which may impact on your diving experience.

Day 6: Sodwana Bay

Another 2 days diving have been included in your itinerary.  There just never seems to be enough time to explore all these fascinating waters have to offer.

The reef systems are prolific with soft and hard corals, and abundant fish species such as butterflyfish and triggerfish, rock-mover wrasse, various eels, sharks including the iconic whale shark and ragged-tooth, dolphins and of course turtles.

Day 7: KwaZulu Natal Game Reserves

Early morning dive before we depart for Bayala Private Game Reserve.  Settle in to your lodge and enjoy an afternoon/evening game drive

LATE AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES (included)

Evening game drive are full of surprises, you could get a glimpse of an elusive leopard or watch a lioness on the hunt. Enjoy the silence of the bush while sipping on your sun-downers.

BUSH WALKS (optional)

This is an all time favourite. Book a walk with one of the experienced game rangers. Being close to the ground alerts all your senses. The ranger will point our spoor, and the little 5. Don’t miss the opportunity to stop and take in the moment.

SPA TREATMENT

EARLY MORNING GAME DRIVES

Wake up at sunset, enjoy your coffee, tea and rusks before setting off for a game drive. Early mornings are relatively cool and the game is more active. Stop in at the waterhole listen to the birds chirping and watch the elephants drink and the calves frolic in the water. Drive on and hopefully you’ll see a predator enjoying the previous evenings kill.

Early morning game drive, return to the lodge around 9am, enjoy breakfast and depart at 10am for your 3 hour road transfer to Durban airport.

Day 11: Simon's Town

Free day to explore the beautiful area of Simonstown or do a Kelp/Shy scuba dive

Visit the well known Bolders beach and enjoy lunch with an unusual view

Day 12: Cape Town

Fri. 20 Mar 2020

After breakfast book out of hotel and depart for your full day guided Peninsula Tour to include Cape of Good Hope National Park.

We end the day with a light lunch (clients own account) at a wine farm with a tour of the estate/wine making.
