Day 1: Tsavo West National Park

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by an Albatros Travel Representative and your driver guide. After a short safari briefing, you will head straight out on safari heading south towards Tsavo West National Park arriving at the Kilaguni Serena Lodge in time for a late lunch.
As the heat of the day subsides, you can venture out to the rocky park in search of Tsavo’s famous inhabitants.
Tsavo West is a Mecca for game viewing, with all the plains game and all of Africa cats located inside. Take a visit to Mzima Springs in the north of the park and enjoy an ‘underwater’ view of the fish, hippos and crocodiles in these crystal-clear pools. As dusk approaches , return back to the lodge for dinner and a chance to share the days’ highlights.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing in the park.
We suggest an early wake-up call so you can head out on a game drive to catch the animals as they wake up to start the day. The early morning is also when the animals are at their most active before the heat of the day sets in. Back at the lodge; breakfast is served .
After lunch, you may wish to take a dip in the pool or relax before your final game viewing drive in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

This morning after breakfast, head straight out to the neighbouring Amboseli National Park arriving at Amboseli Serena Lodge in time for lunch.

Amboseli National Park lies at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,340ft). The mountain dominates every aspect of the park and you can get the best views of its snow-capped peak from Amboseli. The parks fragile ecosystem supports a variety of game and is famous for its large herds of elephant. Swamps and springs, fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow, offer a watering place for the wildlife and birds during the dry season. 

There is plenty to do other than game viewing drives. Other optional activities include a visit to the Maasai village or the Amboseli Research Centre, the longest study of wild elephants in the world - (these will incur an extra cost payable direct)

After lunch, time for a siesta or a swim in the pool before an afternoon game viewing drive.
Return back to the lodge for dinner and a chance to share the days’ highlights

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives and with luck, the snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro will be visible, creating a spectacular backdrop to the peacefully grazing animals.

We suggest an early wake-up call so you can head out on an early morning game drive to catch the animals as they wake up to start the day. The early morning is also when the animals are at their most active before the heat of the day sets in. Back at the lodge; breakfast is served with a wonderful view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After lunch, we suggest that you relax and enjoy your surroundings before heading for your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and your final evening in Amboseli.

Day 5: End of Itinerary

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Nairobi and transfered to Nairobi Airport for your onward flight
