This Marine boat trip departs from Gaansbaai and sets out to Dyer Island, 8kms from shore. This island is protected for its many bird species, including African Penguins, Cape Gannets and Giant Petrels. Adjacent is Geyser Rock, home to 60 000 Cape Fur Seals with the channel between these two islands known as Shark Alley, as Great White Sharks cruise the waters in search of their favorite prey. In and around these waters are strong numbers of Whales and dolphins which make for very rewarding and up-close sightings. Return to shore for a warm drink while watching a DVD of your boat trip.

A full day of stunning scenery awaits, as we embark on an exploration of the Cape Peninsula. We see the trendy beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, before crossing over to the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay. Continuing along Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breath-taking coastal drives, we make our way to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Board the funicular for a trip to the top of the Peninsula for incredible panoramic outlooks over the perceived meeting point of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. Next up, the naval base of Simon’s Town is a richly historic destination of museums, and home to Boulders Beach, renowned for its African Penguin breeding colony. We take some time to wander along the boardwalks, marvelling at the antics of these amusing creatures. Our final stop is Kirstenbosch Gardens, then return to your hotel.

The vibrant heart of the winelands, Stellenbosch, is lovely to explore as you walk down the canal-lined avenues, in the shade of giant oak trees and beautifully preserved historic buildings. Venture over the Helshoogte Pass to the town of Franschhoek, a celebrated wine and food destination of South Africa. This charming town, in a most picturesque valley is where you will enjoy a wine tasting before taking time to enjoy the fabled culinary skills of the Franschhoek chefs at one of the many award-winning restaurants (lunch for own account). Onward to Paarl, a farming town set at the foot of the cluster of remarkable granite domes from which it takes its name and an area that produces some amazing wines.

A la hora indicada, traslado al aeropuerto de Ciudad del Cabo para tomar el vuelo hacia Johannesburgo.
Llegada al aeropuerto de Johannesburgo, recogida por el conductor local de habla inglesa para traslado por carretera al maravilloso Parque Nacional de Pilanesberg.
Este parque nacional alberga a los famosos 5 grandes y la calidad del safari es maravillosa! Otro punto a favor que tiene es que hay menos alojamientos que en Kruger y por lo tanto muchos menos turistas.
Además dentro del parque hay una reserva natural de rinoceronte negro (en peligro de extinción), y se ofrece la posibilidad de hacer safari dentro de la reserva.
Realizaréis 2 safaris al día y todas las comidas están incluidas.
Los safaris son en grupo y en inglés con otros clientes del alojamiento.
Traslado en privado desde Johannesburgo a Pilanesberg por carretera.
