BUSH WAYS AFRICA'S EDEN PRE-TOUR 2024

Your safari begins in Maun where your guide will meet you at 14h30 at Maun Airport. You will travel south to the Deception Valley Private Reserve on the northern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Upon arrival you will be given a safari briefing. Night spent in Deception Valley Lodge.  

You will explore the area for the next two days, enjoying game drives and participate in a nature walk led by a local San tracker. They will share their intricate bush knowledge and give you an insight into their unique and intriguing culture. The game drives will allow you to discover this stunning  area which is home to a fascinating variety of desert specialised wildlife such as oryx and predators including lion, hyena and cheetah. Savour the vast open spaces, clear night skies and uninterrupted beauty. 

After breakfast you will make your way west, you will stop over in Maun at the Bush Ways office where you will enjoy lunch. Your base inspection will give an operational understanding of the company. After lunch your adventure then proceeds to Khwai, your drive will take you through beautiful wildlife areas, game viewing as you go. Your journey is to the Khwai River area, on the border of the Moremi Game Reserve - one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana.

You will spend a night in Sango Safari Camp, a haven bordering Moremi Game Reserve. After your site inspection of camp, enjoy a game drive to explore the area in search of the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for, while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. Your game drive will explore the region surrounding the Khwai River (North-east Moremi / Khwai Concession).

Today you have an early start to your day. You will do a site inspection of Khwai Guest House before leaving this area. You will head north making your way to Savuti. Within the Chobe National Park, Savuti is perhaps one of the best known game-viewing areas in the country. Under ideal conditions the number and variety of animals seen can be quite staggering. You will become abush explorer, enjoying a night of Bush Ways Premium Camping offering you the most genuine safari experience into the heart of Botswana’s magnificent wilderness to ensure memories of a lifetime. Enjoy a game drive that afternoon to explore Savuti area.  

After breakfast you will make your way towards Chobe Elephant Camp located a few minutes’ drive outside the Ngoma gate leading to the quieter routes of Chobe National Park.

Situated on a rocky ridge overlooking the spectacular Chobe River Floodplains, Chobe Elephant Camp offers you ample opportunities to explore the wild surroundings while providing a stunning viewpoint onto one of Botswana’s prime destinations. This afternoon, will be at leisure to enjoy the comfort of camp before a sun-downer game drive along Chobe River.

This day marks the end of your tour. After break fast your guide will take a short drive en-route Kazungula border where you will meet our transfer partner on the ground for Pioneers Lodge. You will do a site inspection of Batonka Lodge and Pioneers Lodge while enjoying a scrumptious lunch. 

As you bid farewell to the town that thunders you will be dropped of at Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Windhoek booked by Africa's Eden organizers.
