Day 1: Central Namibia

Upon arrival at the Windhoek International Airport meet with our representative who will assist with the car rental procedures, brief you on your tour and hand over all pertinent travel documentation. Then depart for Naankuse Lodge some 45 kilometres northwest of the airport. Check in and relax from the long flight. Depending on your flight arrival you have the opportunity to participate in an optional afternoon game drive or the carnivore feeding tour.

Day 2: Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve

From Naankuse Lodgedrive through the Kalahari to Suricate  Kalahari Tented Lodge where you arrive around lunchtime. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to participate in an optional game drive until after sunset, which you will watch from the top of a dune while wine, beer, and the classical Gin & Tonic will be served as sundowners to celebrate the moment. 

Days 3 - 4: Sesriem

You have the option of participating in an early morning  Bushmen Walk of about one hour. Then, after breakfast pack your car and depart in direction of Sosssuvlei. arrival there is in the afternoon. Relax after the long drive and enjoy the traditional sundowner on the veranda.

The next day you visit the red dunes of Sossusvlei. Climb Dune 45 to take in the surrounding panorama from the top. Walk to Dead Vlei to marvel at the age-old dead trees covering the brilliant white lakefloor against the backdrop of the red dunes and the deep blue sky. On your return stop over at the Sesriem canyon, a 36-metre and 6-km long gorge carved in the surrounding limestone conglomerate. In the early evening you have the opportunity for a leisurely sundowner drive to see the sunset from a scenic spot while wine, beer, and Gin & Tonic are being served.

Days 5 - 6: Swakopmund

Drive to the coast crossing the Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyons and the great wide open plains of the central Namib Desert. Stop over at Solitaire for refuelling and enjoying a piece of the famous freshly baked apple crumple. Before arriving at Swakopmund visit the barren Moon Landscape of the Swakop canyon. Then check in at your gguesthouse, freshen up and explore the town on foot. Dinner will be served in a restaurant in town and is NOT included in the tour price, but on your own account. 

The next day is fun-filled with  a choice of many optional activities. We suggest the Marine Dune Day, a combination of a marine cruise in the bay of Walvis Bay, followed by a 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour, 65 km south of Walvis Bay, and over the dunebelt of the southern coastal Namib Desert. Return to the guesthouse will be in the early evening. Relax and prepare for dinner, which will be again served in a restaurant in town and is on your own account.

Days 7 - 8: Twyfelfontein

After breakfast you depart in direction for the seal colony Cape Cross. Visit the shipwreck Zeilah en route a few kilometres before Henties Bay. The seal reserve is the biggest breeding colony of the Cape Fur Seal on the entire west coast of southern Africa and easily accessible because it is on the shore. After your visit return to Henties Bay and turn inland and via the mining town of Uis you will reach Doro Nawas Camp in the later afternoon. Check in, relax and enjoy a sundowner drink  before dinner.

The next morning visit the engravings at Twyfelfontein, Namibia's first World Heritag Site, the Organ Pipes and the Burnt Mountain. On your return visit the Damara Living Museum and learn about the culture and tradition of the Damara people. In the afternoon you have the opportunity for an optional desert elephant tracking excursion the lodge offers. This excursion returns to base after sunset in time for dinner.

Day 9: Epacha Private Game Reserve

Continue direction of Etosha National Park via Khorixas and Outjo. Arrive at Eagle Tented Lodge in the early afternoon.  Check in and relax from the drive and sit down on the veranda overlooking the much-frequented waterhole at the edge odf the camp.  Depending on you arrival time you have the opportunity to participate in an optional game drive in the Epacha Game Reserve.

Day 10: Etosha National Park

From Epacha drive to Okaukuejo and start your first game drive of the day. In the early afternoon check in at Okaukuejo  Rest Camp and continue with your game viewing activities until sunset when the gates close. You have the option of joining the afternoon game drive in open vehicles offered by the camp. This activity is optional. After an early dinner sit down at the illuminated waterhole and watch black rhino as well as elephants come down to drink.

Days 11 - 12: Onguma Game Reserve

Today is dedicated to full day game viewing in Etosha as you traverse the Etosha National Park from Okaukuejo Camp to its eastern confines. Exit the park through the Lindequist Gate with sunset as the park closes for the night and check in at Onguma Tented Camp for the next two nights. 

The next morning you have the option of participating in an optional guided game drive in the park in open vehicles, or undertake a game drive in your own vehicle. The afternoon may be spent with a guided game drive in the Oguma Game Reserve. This activity is optional and not included in the tour price.

Day 13: Erongo Mountains

From Onguma the route leads south via the towns of Tsumeb, Otavi,Otjiwarongo and Omaruru. Erongo Wild is reached in the early afternoon. Check in and prepare for the sundowner excursion. This activity is optional and not included in the tour price.

Day 14: End of Itinerary

All good things have to end and so today you drive to the airport in time for your return flight to Italy.
