Two family units consisting of two bedrooms, each with two three quarter beds in each tent, and with their own en-suite facilities. One family unit with inter-leading indoor passage (thus, recommended for younger children), while the other family unit has an outdoor separating walkway between each of the units (more suitable for older children/teenagers). Innovative non-permanent structures feature removable concrete-free foundations, with the team's precise design and construction methods ensuring minimal environmental impact.

Belmond Safaris - Belmond Eagle Island Lodge: Deluxe Tented Room
Each of the lodge's 12 rooms are 82 square meters in size and boasts its own plunge pool and outdoor deck. Offering contemporary luxury, every detail has been carefully thought-out.
The centerpiece is an over-sized bed with views onto the Delta. Each room features a luxurious bathroom with a large bathtub, double vanity unit and a walk-in wardrobe, as well as a walled outdoor shower with a window looking onto the Delta.

Taking their cue from the style and panache of the original Jack's Camp, the guest tents at Duke's Camp revel in the much-loved vintage safari aesthetic of plush fabrics, Persian rugs and hand-carved four-poster beds. Think mahogany sideboards filled with African memorabilia; richly-patterned kilims atop wooden floors and a butler tray decked with a steaming pot of filter coffee come morning. It's a seamless blend of yesteryear charm, safari savoir-faire and deep respect for the surrounding natural ecosystems.
Each tent offers a spacious en-suite bathroom, bedecked with brass fittings and bespoke amenities, as well as a private viewing deck. Here leather campaign chairs offer a space for quiet reflection on your time in the wilderness, and the opportunity for spontaneous game sightings. Herds of elephant and red lechwe are common here, and moments spent in quiet observation rarely go unrewarded.

Endeavour Safaris - Endeavour Fully Serviced Mobile Camp - Khwai River: Tents to sleep in with en-suite toilet and shower (fully serviced), and a mess tent next to the kitchen; all set up in the heart of the wilderness!
These safaris have been designed in such a way as to ensure maximum comfort and respond to the demands for anyone who prefers a product more luxurious but still adventurous African style product.
In our camps we set up large tents of 4.5 m x 3 m x 2 to 2.5 m, built with a thick layer for insulation on the ground and a partition between the bedroom and private bathroom interior. The tents can be double, single or family (with 1 or 2 children). The tents have large windows with mosquito gauze.
In the bathroom there is a chemical toilet and a hot 're-fillable' bucket shower, which for those with mobility problems, are equipped with chairs with padded seat and folding armrests for easy transfer from wheelchair to shower or toilet.
In the bathroom is also a small linen closet with shelves, a mirror and containers for soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, brush, comb .... We provide towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo and insect repellent.
We also provide high-density mattresses, pillows, quilts, sheets, and during the winter, blankets and hot water bottle.
Between the beds there is a small table with a light and rechargeable battery. At the entrance of the tent there is a water container which is filled by our staff every morning and evening to wash your hands and face and clean your teeth.
