CAPE TOWN
A whole day in Cape Town! There is so much to explore and do. With our bus you get a very good overview of the city, can get off wherever you like. Also an ascent to Table Mountain and the view from Lion's Head is an absolute must!
Afterwards, you and your group can decide whether to go to the coast at Green Point, visit a museum or take a walk through the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. In the Botanical Garden you will have the opportunity to capture the unique flora with your camera on an area of around 600 hectares. Due to the different altitudes, the garden is home to a variety of different plants.
CAPE TOWN
Today is a good day for a trip to the Cape Peninsula. There is much more to see here than the world famous Cape of Good Hope. Unforgettable experiences await you: Spectacular coasts with steep cliffs and endless beaches, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world, a unique flora and fauna and of course the ravishing waves of the Cape.
On your way to the Cape you drive along Chapman's Peak and stop at Hout Bay, where Holger Bulk will show you the best way to capture the picturesque bay with your camera. Another, but completely different, photo scene awaits you in Simons Town on Boulders Beach, where a huge penguin colony lives.
CAPE TOWN - STELLENBOSCH (approx. 56 km / 0:53 h)
Today you leave Cape Town in the direction of Cape Winelands. The route is not far, and the small detour via Tableview is definitely worth it. From the local beach you have the typical view over the bay to Table Mountain, which is as famous as it is spectacular.
Afterwards you drive over the small but very beautiful wine-growing area Durbanville into the Cape Winelands. On the way you will stop at a winery and have the opportunity to take a panoramic photo.
STELLENBOSCH
Another day to explore and enjoy! After you have spent the morning in Stellenbosch, you will go for a trip to Franschhoek. You continue to Hermanus, the capital of whale watching. From September to December, southern right whales give birth to their young here. In the afternoon you take a walk along the cliffs and have with luck the possibility to photograph the whales from direct proximity. A unique experience that you won't forget!
HERMANUS
Today you spend the day in one of the most interesting places on earth to observe the fascinating life of the open sea. Besides the whales, the area is also known for the white sharks. In the neighbouring Van Dyks Bay is one of the world's best places to get very close to these giant predators.
Various companies have specialized in bringing tourists closer to these fascinating creatures and at the same time fighting for their protection. Only through knowledge and understanding of the predators can you take away the fear of humans and protect these magnificent animals. We recommend that you consciously experience this fascinating adventure and also experience the adrenaline rush to see these large sharks eye to eye in the cage (optional).
But also for guests who prefer to stay on land, Hermanus and the region has a lot to offer. The Hemel-en-Aarde valley with its wineries, art galleries and leisure activities is particularly attractive. During a walk through the scenic wine region at the Cape you better not forget your camera.
