Ostrich Out Terms and Conditions
Ostrich-Out GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Ostrich-Out and the Client have agreed that, in return for a Travel&Impact Package booked by the Client, Ostrich-Out will arrange the Programme as described and arrange with the Service Providers to provide the goods and services described to the Client.
The quoted prices are based on negotiated tariffs and include all applicable taxes. In the event that these quoted prices are revised by the Service Providers (transportation carriers, hotels, guides, sightseeing contractors, etc.) or if the applicable tax rates are adjusted by the destination government, prior to the start of this Programme, Ostrich-Out will notify the Client of any necessary price adjustments.
Any requested amendments to the Travel&Impact Package, if accepted by Ostrich-Out, will be confirmed to the Client in writing, with applicable price adjustments as necessary. Any price adjustments must be approved in writing by the Client before any adjustments is confirmed
Payment terms:
- 30% deposit upon confirmation (+ 100% of flight costs)
- 70% balance to be settled 45 days before the trip
Cancellation policy :
Should a cancellation of the entire or a part of the Programme occur, Ostrich-Out prides itself in negotiating with its Service Providers with regard to cancellation fees, specifically with a view to reducing such cancellation fees where possible.
- Flights are non-refundable – at best we can re-schedule them
- Cancellation more than 45 days before the arrival date: 30% of the total amount
- Cancellation less than 45 days before the arrival date: 60% of the total amount
- Cancellation less than 30 days before the arrival date: 100% of the total amount
Force Majeure
(Government restrictions, Covid, conflicts...):
In the event of border closures or government travel bans by the destination country and/or the traveler's country, Ostrich-Out commits to negotiating the best cancellation fees with its providers (case by case).
Insurance:
Ostrich-Out requires that all participants to the Programme be covered by appropriate travel insurance. This insurance should satisfy the following minimum requirements: emergency medical expenses and assistance service, medical repatriation and transportation, as well as burial, cremation or return of medical remains. Ostrich-Out further recommends that the Client consider extending the insurance to include additional benefits, such as cancellation or curtailment, personal accident insurance, lost luggage, delays, etc.
In addition Ostrich-Out’s confirms that its Service Providers are insured with a general public liability and commercial liability insurance.
Late payments
Late payments implies the possibility of losing booking and/or deposits paid with our Service Providers
The confirmation of a Travel&Impact Package with Ostrich-Out implies acceptance of our terms and conditions.
